I have the 20/80 brace and replaced the Allen screw with a quick release seatpost lever from a bicycle. It needs to be cut down to size but it completely eliminated the need for the allen. Most levers come with Delrin washers as not to mar the chassis and run less than $5.00.

My mck charging handle broke after two mags, stopped grabbing the slide. And caa not only made me pay for a replacement but when I said I hoped they improved the charging handle they blocked me on Instagram. Just ordered the recover tactical. I’m looking forward to it

Yeah the plastic charging handles are a design flaw they only grip the slide for 100-500 racks or shots i got 400 outta my canik mca before it was useless plastic . They wear down super easy and just expect you to keep buying more🤣🤣🤣this makes the recovery an instant w.

A little late to the party here but you guys did a great job comparing the 2. Personally I lean towards the 20/20 series of braces. It is more compact/portable and it maintains one advantage a standalone pistol has over other weapons. If there is a mounted light it can be turned on and off with the primary hand. Every other brace kit or PCC that I know of would require any mounted light to be turned on or off with the support hand. I like the MCK, AR-9, and CZ Scorpion, even though they are pistols they can act more like SBRs. My children are of an age where if something went "bump in the night" and we had to move to another room of our house I would need to pick them up with one hand and fully operate a home defense weapon with the other. Being able to turn weapon lights on or off with one hand and the unit not being too heavy to be used 1 handed while carrying small children puts the 20/20 brace in a category more on its own. If I used an AR, shotgun, or MCK (or any other PCC) I would have to choose if I wanted the light "On or Off" before designating my support hand as the holder of the small Goblins that live in my house, look like me, act like me, and eat my food. The MCK might be more comfortable to shoot/handle but the 20/20 brace (in my book) gets a few extra points for being more portable. But like you guys said I don't think someone could go wrong with either option, just depends what you are looking for.

Very, VERY good points! I think that the only option for single handed light manipulation with MOST platforms that you mentioned would be a remote pressure pad that you could actuate with the fingers of your primary hand... but that would make light discipline difficult AND make two handed manipulation even worse.

Hi guys I really like your commentary on all 3 the options presented. For a long time I thought about purchasing the MCK but when I found out about RT 20/20 brace it was a much better option and at a better price point. I do own the recover tactical brace and I love it. Granted It is a bit difficult to aim with iron sights with the brace, But it is so much better with a red dot either on the slide or mounted to an upper rail that can be ordered with the brace

Let's be honest, life's more pleasant with a dot regardless!

I have a p80 mck. Never been able to get it to work at all. I also have an mck for gen3 Glock 21- sort of works...and an actual micro Roni for a czp10c- its excellent, zero problems after 1000 rounds.

I have both and the Recover is what I use now. Its just less bulky and feels better, except it has not safety.

I like the idea of the 20/20 better due to using a slide mounted red dot and it maintaining zero better than the MCK, though in my experience the MCK does the job well enough for its intended use, and it also feels great in your hands.

I should probably do a new comparison with the optics cut MCK.

@Tactical Review agreed. The recover Definitely isn't as good of a shooter as the mck. Only issue I've ever had with the mck is its inherent zeroing issues. The gen 3 should solve that.

How does the recoil impulse compare to shootin ur standard blowback 9mm ar/pcc??
@TacticalReview
@TacticalReview 2 жыл бұрын
My only pcc for comparison is my AK-V, which is pretty chonky (and, for the uninitiated, mass reduces perceived recoil). With that in mind, I'd say that the recoil from these is a bit sharper. The moving mass of the slide, the slightness of the overall platform, and the narrow brace profile all combine to this perception. Still fun to shoot, but not as much as a dedicated PCC I'd say.

I have all three set ups Flux brace, MCK, and recover 20/20, and Flux by far is the best set up, MCK is more of a novelty item & Recover 20/20 is a cheap ass knock off of the B&T Usw-A1

I could, legitimately, find nothing to like about the Flux brace for Glock. I can see the Flux chassis for the Sig pistols being great, though.
