"I gotta get things started 'cuz it's cold" he says as he stands there in a short sleeve 'I love NY' t shirt.LOL That was cool putting the camera inside the grain cleaner.

Can’t have a farm without dogs. I love watching your dogs. Every time the tractor started up my Boarder Collies were on their way with me. I grew up on the farm and was the baby of the family. My two older brothers would tease me till I taught my dogs to get them. All I had to do was whistle and say got them. My dad always laughed at my older brothers and said you deserved what you got.

Interesting Comparison, half way through the video the Gopro 7 Black Stabilization was accidentally turned off. I tried to stabilize it a little during editing but you can sure see the difference in quality with it turned on and off. Gopro did a great job with that camera!

I've been contemplating pulling the trigger on the Hero7. I think I'll do it. Trusted endorsements on KZfaq are far more reliable than an actor reading lines. Thanks!

@WelkerFarms 5 жыл бұрын
Gopro hasn't paid me a dime for anything 😂 I've put a lot of money into them though. The camera is the real deal though. Sometimes it locks up and needs its battery removed and overall the battery is weak but I keep several spares in the charger. Also the wide angle camera does warp things but good software in post editing can correct this.
@PlanetMojo
@PlanetMojo 5 жыл бұрын
I didn't think they paid you -- I was just going by what you said. I have the Hero6 and love it except for the wind/mic issues and the choppy time lapse. I also like the idea of not needing to use a separate stabilizer to get good stabilization. And....I want a new toy 🙂

This is cool to see. I grew up in a rural area and worked on some farms growing up, mostly picking vegetables or fruits and hauling them to market in bushel baskets. I never got a chance to work on one of the big mechanized farms that were handling grain like this using augers and silos. I always wondered how all that stuff worked. I'm getting a pretty good idea now! By the way, fantastic work on that crane you guys used to set the hoppers. My grandfather and great uncle designed a similar setup off the back of an old gasoline-powered International truck. We used it to set trusses building pole barns, which was my family's trade. It's a pretty slick setup.

Can be expensive at the Vet to get them out.] Thank you for your eminent videos and you should all have a very pleasant and Merry Christmas from us at Lat 60 deg N. Now dark most time but the snow make a good traditional Christmas. Now after winter solstice it's getting lighter again (after some months)! Hi from the Netherlands. Discovered you a while ago. Subscribed. Interesting to see farming today. I did farming in the 70-s. The time before the Magnum"s. Our biggest International was the 1246 :) The smallest a 423 :(. We did harvest the green pea"s for a big cannery in Holland. That was a 2 month work 24/6. Good old day"s. Defenitely gonna see more of you. I like it so far. Wish you all Merry Christmas.

I like those 2 Dodge grain trucks sitting in the background. Also gotta say that auger with no guard on it and a man lift being used on the back of the flatbed to get a little more height, goes to show why ag work is one of the most dangerous jobs in the country. It does not have to be that way.
