Series Finale Spoilers, don't watch if you haven't seen the finale.
Please watch in HD For Song See Below
Song: Arctic
Artist: Sleeping At Last
This was a cathartic purging that I needed in order to process the finale. This show will forever hold a deep place in my heart and it really left a hole inside that I needed to work out. I think in the end, after everything Jax had done this season and before - how dark he had gone- that he lost sight of the fact that he was a good man. In his heart he was a good man. A good man who had done horrible things, but redeemed himself by making the ultimate sacrifice. I wanted to show that he was better than who he thought he was in the end.
This one goes out to Kelly and Gaby, and all my fellow SOA friends and fans. You understand my love and passion for this show and how much I will miss it. There will never be another show like this and it was hard to say goodbye.
I can't tell you how hard this was to render so there are some glitches, but I did the best I could with clips that didn't want to render.
No copyright Infringement Intended. Non-profit. I own nothing. All rights to Kurt Sutter, FX and the creators of the show. I am just a fan who wanted to show my love for an epic show.

Why what? Why are those words painful? Do you have kids? For a dad to know and accept that he is a bad father and his children should resent him, is a sad thought.

Pete Molkenthin He doesnt know and accept he's a bad father, he knows and accepts he's a bad person who isn't in an environment to lead his sons to a good future. Esp since Abel is exactly like him (as said a few times in the series). He knows what path he'd walk if not corrected at the right age. Imo, he's a great father with the best intentions, His big mistake was not getting out of the life when abel was born. And getting in the life in the first place. In the end we are all products of our environment.

+steven Claessen "A good father and a good outlaw can't saddle inside the same man." Even Jax himself admits he's the better outlaw than a father. If he had believed he was a good father, he would have righted his wrongs and went back to his kids. But he didn't. He continued down his outlaw path of a murderous daily routine and killed himself.

I like to think she’s both! As in the finale episode it kept showing wine soaked bread. And right after his death as well in the road. To me this symbolises the blood and body he has given in sacrifice to his club, his family and his friends,just as Jesus sacrificed himself for the greater good and spoke about the wine and bread as his body and blood. It’s also symbolic for jax finding peace. I also believe that she symbolises the reaper, as everybody meets the reaper! And it also goes hand in hand with their reaper symbol and anarchist theories...

One of the best SOA tribute videos there is It´s kinda sad everthing that went on with Jax because Tara getting killed. When Donna died, Opie stood there to watch out for their kids and thought it was his fault for keeping on with the only life he ever had. The club was on his blood. But Jax completely loses his shit and forgets his dad´s dream about keeping the club clean and his soul gets sooo dirty during Season 7 cause of of the people he kills, it becomes as full of blood as his once pure white trainers.

I think you misinterpret Jax. His motive is to create a better future for his kids and the only way to do so is to completely cut the (blood) ties to the MC life. He is convinced that he himself will poison his kids of he lives on since the MC is the only life he knows. I think this is a fairly obvious conclusion to draw since there is so much focus on Able in season 7. Jax does not only sacrifice himself for the club he also do so for his boys.

I finish watching SOA today. The last chapter I cried like a child. I think every character has things that are our own . When Jack says goodbye to his children, his Samcro's brothers , when he asks Nero to take care of his family etc , everything is very emotional . The video that you have edited , is a short summary nicely done, with very significant for all of us who like SOA scenes. What Jack truly amazing is that being a gangster, a criminal, he has managed to fall in love to all of us . He took the wrong way, but his goal was always to protect his family and leave the club the legal side. Jack could not do that , but we grant that he tried everything until he finally realized that the best and only alternative was suicide. Your 4:22 min . video that you did manage to go through your head all this I just recounted . I loved. I congratulate you

The scene actually brought a tear to my eye when he died. All he wanted to do was protect his boys & get the club clean. I was so attached to the character & was absolutely gutted when this amazing show came to an end but what an amazing ride it was. I really felt bad for Nero too.

You summed that up perfectly. The character building in this show was amazing. No one's perfect. Sometimes good people do bad things for the right reason (or what they perceive to be right) Just as someone that is ugly, mean, hateful and only cares about what they get will sometimes do the right thing for the right reason or wrong reason. Humans are complicated and I love that you could love, hate, be angered by, enjoy, etc these "people" The writers did great at presenting the idea. The actors were fabulous at portraying these people. The directors did a great job of making sure the ideas were relayed and understood. I've never seen a series where everyone was so believable all the time

But then I was home for a few days sick and watched again.. Got hooked. Saw all shows on DVD and followed till the end. This was one of the best series I have ever watched. Kacey Me and a friend thought it would be cool if Thomas and Abel ended up on opposite ends of the law. Abel resurrects the Sons and takes them to heights undreamed of. Thomas, of course, is the baddest ass law enforcer in the state of California. Make for one helluva a climax. We also thought of one where they're leaders of rivals MCs as well. It might be considered bad but people have always loved a good "brother vs brother" story.

Last night i come across this video and God, I’m telling you, I don’t think I have ever cried for a movie or TV show as I cried for this video. I cried like a baby, till I got tired and fell asleep. And now in the morning I’m still crying while writing this comment. I don’t know how to watch 4 more seasons knowing that I have to go through this again. Peter Weller, Kurt Sutter and Adam Atkins could have saved us such a heart break. 😭😭😭

I love this buddy, great work. I think I've realised the reason why this upset me so much, and it's not because Jax knew he had to go, but because Abel and Thomas are going to grow hating him and believing him to be a bad person, when everyone else knows that that isn't quite true. I like to think that one day Wendy will tell them who he really was, what he did, what he did for them both. Jax deserves that. His kids deserve that. JT deserves that.
@fsd2696
@fsd2696 5 жыл бұрын
DCJayBam I can’t help but agree with you on that, man. Very emotional ending for the series, seeing the main character being killed off. I too hated that his boys would hate him someday, which is probably what Jax wanted. He new if Abel and Thomas resented him, then they wouldn’t wanna follow in his footsteps. He killed himself in the end to save his boys from what he’s become in Samcro. However I’m with you that Wendy should tell the boys the great man Jackson really was and maybe Sutter will do that in the sequel called ‘The Mayans MC’ I think Wendy and Nero are gonna raise them and Abel might get caught up in that reckless lifestyle like his father.

It's so crazy how we connect to shows like this, for most of us it's for good reason. We have history, a past, likeness. This show for me was one of the best ones I ever got into, I was able to relate to my life experiences growing up in an "outlaw" kinda life, and I still feel regret for things I did as a young man trying to find my place. Time passes and you look back, it's all just a chapter in life you can grow past, but, only if you're strong enough to let go, and grow.
