My guess is that all countries have a conflict between international capital and domestic capital. The USA is no exception. My guess again, I guess that Mr. Trump represents the interests of American domestic capital, and President Biden represents the interests of international capital. For evidence, the American domestic capital cares more about the US border than the international capital, while the international capital cares more about the "over there," such as Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, etc., than the American domestic capital.

As early as the formation of the People's Republic of China 75 years ago, China pledged to be permanently an independent member of the Global South. It would never make itself a leader by dominance & imposition, but it would lead by example to encourage other countries to work together for the benefits of their people & the world. Its successive governments all held & hold the same pledge in their tenures & have been consistent in their foreign policy of adhering to joint consultation & planning, joint building & joint enjoyment on equal footing with other countries for mutually benefiting results. Wise leaders of countries over the world understand that. As President Xi observed several years ago, the world is facing "a sea change which has not been seen in a hundred years". He told his people to get prepared for it. As things happen & develop, it appears that this change is slowly & progressively coming. Moreover, it is coming in a good trend for the whole world, especially in a much fairer manner for the Global South. Rather than struggling to block it with unscrupulous & aggressive tricks, the Global North should mediate & adapt itself to this seemingly unstoppable trend & make the best out of it. Change for the better is never a bad thing, but being afraid of changes is simple cowardice & is bad.

Israel in Gaza is doing nothing different to what the U.S hasn't done in countless countries around the world.
