I am in so much trouble thanks to your video. As soon as my wife heard Disney music it was 20 questions. she loves Disney's world of color and now I have been told to put stakes in my display. My first pixel display will be next year. you guys are truly an inspiration. I cant wait to get started. Thanks for all your video's it makes it so much easier when there are such amazing examples out there.

Love the stakes!! What an awesome visual from a simple prop.

Just figured out that if you make each pixel on each stake a submodel you can create groups without the need for a Custom model.

Probably worth mentioning...the new pixel stakes from Boscoyo look like a great option too.

Thanks for sharing your videos have been an inspiration. I was wondering if you could do a video on how you made those little Christmas trees they are very cool and would like to try and add them to my show. Thanks again.

Thanks for taking the time to show use how you did this, it was a great addition to your show. I've noticed a 3D printed model on thingiverse that looks promising. Also if you could do a video on the collapsing tree. Thank you.
@dmpeaceman5 жыл бұрын
Yep - that will be coming next for sure. The collapsing tree is a bit less "straight forward", but might be interesting to some.

I too would love to see a video on how you did the collapsing tree.

Hi Ive built 100 of the stakes and am having problems getting to program correctly in Xlights, I was hoping you had a short sequence of just the pixels sticks you could share. Thanks John

Hey there! Curious if the new version of xLights with the 3D modeling has changed the way you sequence these. If it has, I would love to see another video showing how you did it! Love the lights and your Peace Stakes are a definite addition to my show this year!

I would also be interested in how the 3D Cube modeling has changed your sequencing on this.

At the 2:20 mark you say that all of the "nodes are hand soldered to each stake". What do you mean by that? Are the nodes in a continuous string, or do they break out of the main string. Looking at what Ray Wu has, it appears that they break out like an icicle drop.

Did anyone ever find the aliexpress store he mentioned?

Hi - Looking to add these to my display. A couple questions: 1) Have you tried to redo in the 3D models? Been trying with mixed results. 2) For the 2D as you show, You created a line for each stake? so if you had 20 stakes, you would have 20 lines and then the 5 layered models?
@ponddude5 жыл бұрын
I understand how this looks with just the stakes, but how do you set this up in the overall scheme of your entire layout? Do you still use 4 separate sections?
@ducebigalow88343 жыл бұрын
Can you or is there a more detailed explanation of how to set these up in xlights? I have made my own 4 node stakes (8 total stakes) this year and I am interested in how you set them up. I have mine in xlights as group of 8, but not clear on the layers bit that you did to get the effects you have done. I would like to make more of these depending on how they work this year.

I wonder.... what would the shock wave look like on each different level, staggered a little....like you did with the spinner effect.... would it give some depth to the water ripple of the canon hitting the water???
@jeffanderson88252 жыл бұрын
I am just learning, can you share a layout of the sticks and a seq. I think I asking thing correctly.
@ducebigalow88345 жыл бұрын
This sweep effect, where did you get that from in xlights? Im in the latest version and don't see it. Is it a wave effect with a different setting? Love it though!

how do you get the lights to give you a glow effect? Looks awesome!

Please, can you activate the subtitles of the video to be able to translate them into Spanish? It would be a great help, I don't speak English. This one is particularly interesting to me, but the subtitles are turned off. Thanks in advance from Spain. Responder I have watched most of your videos with subtitles,
