Rupert has a way with words. Very articulate for sure. Expressing Peace, happiness, joy ,beauty sounds like a sweet melody to the ears. Recognizing our shared Universal Consciousness and aligning all our activities with this understanding in the way we act and treat everyone and everything sounds even more touching to the heart. And no doubt we should treat each other with respect and care regardless of whether or not we understand Existence as It really IS. The question is, Is this Really how Existence IS in Itself? Did we Really get it right this time? Could it be possible that we may be fooling ourselves, imposing our misunderstanding and ignorance unto Existence Itself? Could it be possible that we may be imposing our little human concepts of life seen thru human lenses unto Existence Itself? Are we not imposing our human qualities of love,peace, happiness,joy and beauty unto Existence Itself? The forces of Nature has brought a devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, killing tens of thousands including babies and infants, and injuring tens of thousands more, and also leaving even many more without a home. Hard to imagine the sufferings this has caused to so many. Were the forces of Nature out of alignment with its true Being? Did the forces of Nature behave on behalf of a separate self? Did the Universal Consciousness know Itself to be all peace and happiness while carrying this horrible act out? Or, Is this how the Universal Consciousness expresses its peace, happiness and joy?. Whatever the case may be, one thing we know for sure, is that, IT is doing what IT always has been doing, as if to mock at how wrong we're about Existence Itself. While we're busy talking about, peace, happiness, beauty and joy, countless life forms are being eaten alive, at every moment, some barely days old, screaming in pain from the top of their lungs to absolutely no avail. Which is more of the reason why we can never be too careful when it concerns the Absolute True Nature of ourselves, whatever IT may be, not just for our own sakes, but also for the sakes of all life forms and beyond .

The Buddha said that desires/wants/etc are the source of suffering. The desire/seeking of enlightenment is also a source of suffering/frustration (perhaps the greatest/saddest desire). If you give up the seeking energy and just BE, then you find that what you were eternally seeking was there all along.

Rupert is excellent as always.Thanks for having him. Personally i understand the non-dual approach in a bit different way. For me the basic understanding is that we are all aspects or manifestations of a single indivisible whole or reality.Our belief of separation,of individuality ,is due to ignorance. Deep understanding of the above weaken considerably the two major beliefs which constitute the self-illusion state. 1 .There is me (individualization) 2. I am so and so (identification). It is the first step towards equanimity. And equanimity for me is bliss.

enlightenment is the natural state of our being that's all, it's not something gained it's just realized when you become aware of your self but has always been there and has never been apart from you. I could try to say more but here words just end up going in circles around what's trying to be talked about and never hit or get to what is being tried to talk about so really there is nothing that can be said about this that really comes into truly talking about it, even now just saying this I want to go in circles trying to say something about it, so I will just stop, that's the best that can be said, it is right here, not a here that can be pointed at, just here. Stop putting your attention on things, really all you keep your attention on is your senses and mind or mind things/stuff, stop doing that and put you attention on yourself not what your senses or mind is telling you, just yourself, just be as you are, just yourself! Wake up! Love you all ❤🙏🏼❤🙏🏼❤... really I do love you all.... Namaste ❤❤❤

The sense of something, versus Reality, are fleeting... including "sense of presence". Not seeing the argued point. All experience is to my imaginary dream character... just a biological 'side effect' in animals clearly. No abiological unchanging experience... this node's observations..

The essence of being is referring to the part of our being that never changes. The part that never changes must be empty, formless, colorless, etc. The fullness of form, color, etc. is experienced, but it isn't the changeless essence.
