He's the character I'm the most excited about, but I'm not sure about making him into a clown... he was 100% perfect in *Arrow* season 5 (in season 6 he was little bit less badass, but still great), even his costume was on point. He was a perfect adaptation of the Adrian Chase version of Vigilante, and I'm scared that in the future the "clown Vigilante" from this show will be his new official persona...

Apparently, we almost didn't have him, they originally cast another dude who bailed and were thinking of killing him off around episode 5. But they recast him with Freddie Stroma and we got one of the best comedic performances in the entire superhero genre.

Everything they said is EXACTLY how i saw them.. Almost everyone hates Peacemaker except Vigilante who looks up to him like a Big Brother.. He is Vigilantes Idol/Hero.. Their friendship slowly blossoms into a beautiful flower throughout the show. Vigilante is that typer of friend everyone needs.

Please pleas please don't let Vigilante have a villain arc as Peacemaker's sense of morality evolves... I want a redemption arc for Vigilante!! I love that as a sociopath he derives his sense of morality from the law, hence why he feels fine killing people for jaywalking or doing graffiti lol. I could totally see him learning that morality is deeper than that; he's a wonderful, lovable character and I hope they don't play into the "sociopath = villain" trope. This is the first positive representation of someone with APD that I've ever seen and I hope that trend continues!

There was a split second moment during the scene when Vigilante was pissed at Peacemaker for letting him get tortured. I thought uh-oh are they going to give him a villain arc. I absolutely agree with what you’re saying here so I really hope they don’t.

My prediction: Vigilante will become the main antagonist at the end. All the storyline of Peacemaker is him feeling more and more remorseful and at the end he may become a more rightful person. Vigilante on the other hand will feel betrayed by his "idol" and he will continue on his path of violent psychopath leading him and Peacemaker to have a showdown

He does in the comics, but in the comics, he was an ordinary New York DA until his wife an son were murdered. He was more like the Punisher. In the end, Peacemaker, who wasn't his friend, exposed his identity and killed his friend (also called Vigilante), which led him to kill himself.

If they did a multiple Deadpool’s from different universes or had to replace Ryan for the role, he’s the perfect guy to play him. This DC’s Deadpool essentially. Absolutely love his character.
