This style of dance is called b. Bharatnatyam, it takes YEARS to get the postures and hand movements and expressions ON POINT. The lead girl, Sai pallavi learnt this choreo in 10 days

@@sandeshguria4496 it was actually Kuchipudi. And even she says that in the movie that she learnt Kuchipudi from a master from Andhra. Gaudiya nrutya is very different.

Not every classical dance is bharatanatyam 🤦.....This is from a Telugu movie, i guess it's kuchipudi...

It's a fusion..not at all pure Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam & also Odissi..it's a mixture of all dance forms which had their origin in Bharata's Natya Shastra..don't bring your regional political nonsenses into dance too..enough of sickening negativity in the name language & ethnicity..let dance & music transcend barriers..irritating to see comments of nerds who behave like frogs under a coconut shell daily fighting over who is superior , who the rivers belong to, & still call yourselves proud indians. Disgusting & insulting hypocrites.

This song is choreographed on the basis of this Indian festival called Navrartri( spans over 9 nights) and is celebrated for goddess Durga killing the demon mahishasura(according to Hindu history)
