2023 and 2024 are THE years of modern Nintendo. Crazy, batshit insane ideas and games (Wonder being the biggest example), giving underutilized characters the spotlight (Peach and Zelda getting their own games), the revival of the once-lost Mario & Luigi series, TOTK, Pikmin 4, the amazing ending of the MK8D DLC, METROID PRIME 4 FINALLY HAVING GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE, SUPER MARIO RPG REMAKE, TTYD REMAKE?! While it hurts keep in mind Retro Studios has been full-steam-ahead on Prime 4 for almost a decade now. So once it comes out they’ll probably start cooking with DK again
