Born in Tyseley/Acocks Green Birmingham life there til I was 17 my family still there. I've lived in London bought a home in the beautiful Cotswolds. Traveled and worked all over the world now live in Andalucia Spain. But there's a thing about Birmingham that I love. That I have not seen anywhere else. It's not all about pretty looking places. People make a place and Brummies just like other industrial cities of England have something very unique about them. I had to leave and go other places to find that out

Tommy Shelby has to be the most strong, most agile, resilient, unyielding, immoral yet not evil, levelheaded main lead and you get to see that in season 3 when he's busy taking meetings with a broken skull, dead wife and questionable family.

I have bad memory with series, so I'd literally forgotten who Tommy was currently dating, what the heck the whole Mosley plotline was, who the Irish woman is. 10 mins into S6E1 I decided to swallow my pride and watch one of these (I'm embarrassed about my memory). It is not lost on me how many hours it must take just to produce one video, with scripted dialogue over top of the appropriate edited footage from watching 5 seasons of the series. Excellent video! I felt Season 1 had the best story because the stakes were ‘realistic’. After that it was the effective takeover of the country, repetitive ‘Back to Birmingham’ themes and miraculous escapes via a ‘secret plan’ at the end of the season. Interesting characters, just that the plot becomes a bit convoluted.

I have to disagree ,I thought every season was pretty good and seeing the stakes rise Would make sense with how much He’s grown in power since season 1.And there’s a lot more important things like tommy and arthur’s mental state n there development that make other seasons my favorite over 1

season two is when the show peaked for me with that finale , there is no bad season imo every new character they introduce feel like a real person even with limited screen time (ex: alfie, luca, abraham gold, campbell, the russians, and linda (Fuck Linda) ) but watching the season two finale for the first time was so intense, season 3’s finale is a close second for me fookin love this bloody show

Just finished watching the show ! This recap helped anchor the role of the creepy priest who was also a spy ! I didn’t really understand that part when l first watched the show! I was more shocked by what a despicable character he was regardless of him being a spy !

I don't speak English as my mother tongue, in fact I'm just learning it in school. So, I've been watching this show quite eagerly and it isn't that easy to understand due to the many different and hard to understand (and beautiful nonetheless) accents and due to the quite complex and complicated story. I really am enjoying the show, the incredible acting and those peaky blinders hats anyway. So, you really helped me to understand everything from an overall perspective... Keep it up
