Beyond adorable. I imagined that George was the camera guy. I had no idea this cookie existed. It will be my fav one as well. P nut butter & oatmeal are always on hand. I only eat old fashioned oats so I imagine the chewy factor will increase as well. Thanks so much.

I'm usually very much against family channels and showing their kids on camera and exposing them online, but this was made in such a nice way, not exploiting the kid and actually teaching him to do the steps he can do and encouraging him all the time! So cute, your family is lovely

OMG! John!!!! this is precious! I love your recipes but I must admit I would have probably skipped this one since I do not like peanut butter at all. But when I read "WITH BRIAN" I knew I had to watch. And then the added bonus of your son!! What a beautiful thing to watch. And of course, flour everywhere 🤣🤣 like father like son. these cookies were A M A Z I N G! i halved the recipe and used robin hood gluten free flour, added 1/4 cup chocolate chips, and measured 1 tbsp for each cookie. i ended up with 36 cookies and it's the first time EVER that GF cookies do not taste gluten free! my family just loved them. definitely a keeper - thanks for the superb recipe. also enjoyed your family members helping out - so adorable

I'm a relatively late comer to this channel, and it's my favorite. I've made more recipes from this site than I did for any others on the air.. Everyone knows the reasons why it's so popular so I don't have to get into that. This episode----which I don't know how I missed---along with the family making Christmas cookies are two that I watch when I need a pick me up. It's impossible to watch this and not smile. John and Brian, you are making a beautiful loving family, one that should be a model to all families on how to co-parent and how to foster and enrich the partnership of a successful marriage.

Teaching kids the basics of home is great. To learn to cook is a skill that is so overlooked at times and really it is a great way to spend time together and honestly they can learn to read and math and more. It just really is a good way to learn while having fun and creating memories.

Thank you. I made them into ice cream sandwiches. Once frozen the cookies held up well. I made small sandwhiches so they didn't have time to melt or the sandwhiches thaw. I used vanilla ice cream which was sprinkled with mini chocolate chips.

I'd love to see more videos with your whole family!! Reminds me of cooking and baking with my Mom. We had so much fun! Not sure if I should admit this or not, but... Our favorite and most used cookbook was one from the local Grange. There were pages with coffee and tea stains, batter splatters that had been wipes up, butter/shortening fingerprints and, yes, every single time we opened it, flour or sugar would drift out...no matter how much we wiped it down/shook it out before putting it away. Mom's tweaks were written on some pages and recipes from friends and family on the back pages. I miss that cookbook and miss Mom even more. Thanks for this great recipe! I'll be making hubby some this weekend.
