Ingredients and Recipe
Flour 2½ cup
Dust milk ½ cup
Sugar ½ cup
Nutmeg ½ tsp
Baking powder ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
In a large bowl add all and mix
Butter 4 tbsp
Add butter and mix until it is well combined
Evaporated milk ½ cup
Vanilla syrup ½ tsp
Eggs 2
In a small bowl add and whisk then transfer to the flour and mix well the set aside
Peanuts 1 cup
In a blender, add peanuts and blend "don't blend smoothly" after blending add it to the dough and mix well, if soft "add extra flour" and mix well then cover to rest for 15 minutes.
In a working surface, sprinkle some flour, add the dough then divide the dough into 2, set ½ aside and work with ½
Use rolling stick to roll the dough, roll both sides. Use knife or pizza cutter to slice and cut according to the shape you want, once done sprinkle some flour to avoid sticking, in a tray or wide plate sprinkle some flour and transfer the chin chin dough and set aside then cut the remaining dough.
Oil
In a dry pan, add oil, allow it to hit well use one of the chin chin dough to check the temperature if okay add the chin chin dough and give it a gentle stir immediately to avoid sticking then stir time to time to fry very well, fry until golden brown. Off your stove, in a bowl or strainer add kitchen paper or tissue then remove the chin chin from hot oil and transfer to it and allow the chin chin to cool down completely and enjoy yourself. Store in a container and cover very well to avoid avoid air.
