It's very good to hear someone not brazilian recognizes that when using vodka it's no longer a Caipirinha. And more than that, recognizes that it's not a regular Caipiroska even, but you had an inspiration Joe... And mixology is about that! So many brazilians change the classic recipe of our most traditional cocktail and still call it Caipirinha. They use vodka, they use rum, they use piss, and they don't have any respect the Caipirinha deserves.

Dont judge me but I just made this drink (one hour after this video was posted :P ) and its super nice!!! I dont have pear vodka so I used normal Russian Standard and it works really well!

This is off topic, but as soon as I saw Joe's picture on the still of the video, my mind immediately popped up with "Gildory Lockhart!". I'm reading "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" to my kids, so this is may explain it.

The feel when you want to show a drink from brasil but you can't use cachaça because your oppressive advertisement contract with Gay Goose forced you to only use vodka for almost every drink on your channel. Feelsbadman.

I really like the channel when it started, but since its only ads these days (just as with foodtube) the quality has really dropped....

It's just a gin basil smash with vodka instead of gin. Nop, I'll stick to the lovely botanicals of the gin.
