I watched Pearl before X, as well 😂 (I mean, technically, I watched reactions in order. Love a spoiler 😂) also, the actress playing Mitsy said she had interpreted it as she didn't get the part. Pearl just wouldn't accept that answer because she had convinced herself she got it.

That's the way familial hierarchy used to be. When they only had one tub of water dad got to use it first. Then the eldest son if there was one. The youngest child was bathed last. That's where the expression "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater" came from. The bath water was so dirty by that point that you had to make sure you didn't throw your baby out as you were dumping the tub.

I’ll agree with another comment that I enjoy you guys pausing the movie and commenting. My only complaint is that you guys don’t have a bunch of content yet for me to binge!

The way your in between commentary helps make the movie less unsettling is magical, I love the comment about the vengeful goose eating the old fashion nude pic from the guy. Watched your reaction to Hereditary before this. Helped me get through watching it again b/c the first time was so interesting yet unsettling but, you helped me understand some things I missed the first time so thanks lol new sub by the way :)
