Hi guys! Joe here from New Zealand. Love your vlog on PH! Thanks! Spent a day there back in 2015 but it just wasn’t enough time. I could spend a whole day aboard Mighty Mo’ & still not see enough! Very humbling & emotional experience. Like you Abbie, I wouldn’t be able to live in a Sub. BTW Wiebe… the USS Batfish is indeed a Second World War Sub. She was Commissioned in Aug 1942, awarded 9 Battle Stars & officially sunk 6 Vessels during the conflict… according to the Muskogee War Memorial Park records. There ya go, Abbie 😉

@@AbbieandWiebe Hi, Abbie… I’ll start by saying sorry to Wiebe 🤭 Hope I haven’t upset him too much! I live in the North of the North Island just out of the Far North’s City of Whangarei. About an hour’s drive from the well known Bay of Islands & 2.5 hours from Auckland. If you haven’t been to this part of Aotearoa, there are beautiful Bays & Beaches here so please do come visit!

@joetauroa1585 haha no he’ll be fine 🤣 Oh that sounds lovely! We have not been there, only driven through on the way to Bay of Islands and Mangonui. Wiebe said we actually had it on our original trip plan for this next trip but ended up cutting it because of time crunch 😢

@@AbbieandWiebe I’m fortunate enough to be an airline pilot so get to see many beautiful places in our quiet corner of the world. No matter wherever you go here NZ, you’re sure to see some beauty. NZers in general are very welcoming also and willing to give tips on where to visit. 🙂

Well we were only in Oahu for one day and only to see PH so we don’t really have any recommendations outside of that. But we are hoping to get our video out tomorrow about planning your day at PH! 🥰
