BEAUTIFUL SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL SONG!! Eddie sings it with so much feeling and his beautiful passion and emotion self!! I love this song so much! When my late husband died unexpectedly massive heart attack I sang at the top of my lungs believe me I was hurting so bad. He would show up in my dreams and hug me I didn't want to wake up. Eddie, my 1st rock idol back in the 80's when I was a kid :) Now after more than 20 years you can still touch my emotions with your songs, you're amazing. Real bands dont shine only once with 1 hit, they do it decade after decade, always touching people's souls with their songs

The live version in "imagine in cornice" has always been my favorite for how well it sounded & the video footage, but this one, I have to agree, is the most touching and sensitive version due to that fact that it was dedicated to the 9 people lost in the Roskilde incident 10 years before and this one is missing the speech at the beginning right after they played Black, it was the speech that Eddie almost didn't make it thru because he was breaking down crying. Whenever I watch that part I can't help but break down bawling too.

Pearl Jam's 2000 European tour ended in tragedy on June 30, with an accident at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. Nine fans were crushed underfoot and suffocated to death in the crowd. After numerous requests from Festival officials to stop playing, the band finally stopped and tried to have the crowd step back but it was already too late. The two remaining dates of the tour were canceled and members of the band contemplated retiring after this event.

Pearl Jam put awesome songs altogether along the 20 years, and never disappointed me. I will welcome any Pearl Jam songs in the future. My only expectation is to come from them.
