On the first date of the Dark Matter Tour in Vancouver, B.C., Pearl Jam's Mike McCready fell off the stage while playing a solo for 'Porch'. He appeared to be ok as he was pulled back up by a crew guy. You gotta admire a guy who gets so lost in his work that he loses a sense of where he is.

That's called a noise gate pedal lol. (Assuming it's not playback) But I think it does make a slight noise if you listen carefully

Guy was in a trance and just stepped right off. Senses become compromised as we age. Probably couldn't differentiate stage and nothing. It is pretty dark up there

What's absolutely INSANE to me is how this "nothing devastating happened" moment could have been so much worse to the point where it would have ended the show and postponed many others. Even just a sprained ACL or something. Instead, just a whoopsie, carry on 👍👍😐😐😂😂😊😊

Getting old sucks, but at least we’re never alone! PJ took over my brain in my freshman yr at college in ‘91. Couldn’t focus since. Too much partying. 😂 No recollection of Lolla. 😅Hope to see them again one day!

Damn. Well that was next to impossible. I’m sure I was crowd surfing though. I live in a constant loop of falling off stage I suppose. 😅 -How to remember concerts better? Running away from a bear-or screaming at a concert-tells it that you must be scared. If you commit to standing still, in a relaxed state, on the other hand, you'll send a message to your brain that there's no need to get too excited. That can help encourage memory formation.
