Pearl Lounge Review at Abu Dhabi's BRAND NEW Terminal A

I recently visited Abu Dhabi's brand new Terminal A (only open for a few weeks when I visited) and tried out the Pearl Lounge. This lounge is the only non-Etihad lounge currently in the terminal, and I'm happy to report it's pretty good, and absolutely massive. It's also accessible for free with Priority Pass!

The architecture of Terminal A is absolutely stunning, it looks great. The lounge looks decent but I fear it will always be crowded as a result of allowing Priority Pass holders entry. Certainly didn't look like the "tranquil escape" they describe it as on their website.

Thanks for the good information. It is very helpful. You are limited to three hours to enter with a Priority Pass, but did staff check your exit time?

They don’t check, so you can definitely get away with more than 3 hours I reckon.

Thanks for the video. I have promo vaucher to get access there for 20 GBP. Looks worth the money as I would probably spend more on food in terminal.

It’s by the departure gates so you will have to pass through security

We have a connection to Abu Dhabi, but it's only for 1.50 mins. Do you think we will have time to use the lounge?

Assuming your 1st arrives on time I think there will be plenty of time.

In reality you would only get 30 to 45 minutes at the most in the lounge once you factor in time going through security, getting to the gate and boarding time. Certainly not worth it if you have to pay. I went through AUH a few days ago and my layover was 15 minutes longer than yours. I had only about 40 minutes in the Etihad Lounge. Fortunately I had free entry. I certainly wouldn't have paid to go in, especially when it's a lot more expensive than the Pearl Lounge.
