Pearl Travel Congas and Bongos offer the full sound of traditional hand drums but with the ease of compact transport.
The Travel Congas feature a 3.5” deep wood shell with stave construction and Remo Symmetry heads. Available in three sizes: 11” x 3.5”, 11.75” x 3.5” and 12.5” x 3.5” each with five precision Allen bolts.
The 7” and 8.5” Travel Bongos feature 3.5” deep Thai Oak shells with Remo Fiberskyn heads and three point tuning. The Travel Congas and Bongos include a foam-handle tuning wrench.

My only question would be is that I noticed the heads are by Remo. Some heads I’ve seen that are by pearl but the sound seems to be different. So i probably would prefer the remo heads and could I fit regular conga remo heads.

Cool, I really want to get my hands rubbing on them kind. I had a set of travel congas but I don't know what happened to them. That is weird but true. I always wanted to go play at bars and stuff for fun as I know a bassist who plays around and does studio work such as his past work with Michael Jackson, and Luther Vandross and so many others. he makes a living playing bass, I like the bass but my thing is the congas. People can chase a person away from that type of life as a musician like the bad guys fans wanting in the door for fame, takes away from the love of the life of a musician... and a musician does not have to be famous it is just normal people love good music played right. I gave it up, I seen the ugly and it is, all the fake ones wanting to be the next Michael Jackson or Tina Turner. Even though, that life of being a musician seemed cool for me if I was hired to play that night for say, Sade needed someone.
