Ever since I subbed to this channel I've been exclusively falling asleep to those long form VODs. AA's voice with the low intensity gameplay is just perfectly soothing sleepy time material.

The crystals you get to summon the magic powers are finite, once you destroy all the enemy camps on the map there is no way to get more. Because of this they are the most important resource to horde, and not waste.

Cemeteries and siege weapons are the most important things long term. Decomposing corpses spread disease and lead to "zombies", which causes more disease. Siege weapons annihilate large armies, and you need to make sure you have them BEHIND the walls, preferably on towers, because siege weapons can't fire upon enemies when they're close.

Recognizing "a game will be a problem in the future" as AA says about Super Auto Pets is something I am only barely able to do...

you should build the scout tower basically immediately to reveal the map, it's really cheap, doesn't require a person to actually be in it, there's no reason not to build them immediately. I like to build 4, one in each corner of my visible area, right at the start. It's a much easier way of revealing the fog of war than running your troops around.

How fortuitous, I just watched the previous one for this game.

This reminds me of a game I played back in the 90's I have long forgotten the name of. I'll have to look into this one.

The game has Zepplins and doesn't let you drop rocks on folks using them or load them with archers? I guess they'd have to add enemy archers to counter that but it'd be awesome.

the healer cannot raise the dead, your spear guy never died. He got hit by a catapult ball, which, knocked him down and caused his health bar to go away until he got back up. He never died.

The catapults have a minimum range, you need a balance of catapults and archers. Also, you're sleeping on the trebuchets, spearmen, and crossbowmen.

The trebuchet require the larger towers.

Looks mediocre, possibly engaging, but is too expensive for what it is at 25 dollars. I personally wouldn't pay more than 15, coming from a long time Stronghold/Starcraft/Spell Force fan. The gaming industry can do better, it just needs more incentive to do so.
