Very cool. This will be my next project. I'm also going to make a same width matching cabinet to go between the head and speakers to hold 3U height of 19" rack gear and my TDH Hotplate. I'm sick of them sitting on top of the amp ;)

THOSE SHEFFIELDS RUIN THAT AMP. i run my 2x12 head thru my EVH III cab and its night and day. its almost as good as my 5150 III head...close but no cigar...still a bad mutha tho

The voice of sheffeild is too dark in my opinion, now I have mod the amp with a pair of v30

those sheff. gives it an unpleasant chainsaw sound that is just too hard to find in the mix. you being a live player you know what i'm talking about. we hear amps different than a lot of ppl because in our minds we are adding bass and drums to it. the G12evh (basically a G12 heritage) makes that amp pop...its not as clean as my EVH mk III head, but it is a beast of it's own for sure. needs an EQ in the fx loop too, but it comes alive w/ brutality....

AXE SLINGER lately I compared 5150 combo with peavey ultra plus on the same cab with v30...there's no story man...every singol note of the 5150 is like a kick in your face...I love his voice and I never tried an EQ in the loop fx..but never say never
