@@AskDaddyjoe yes very true. Excellent speakers. All these new powered speakers don't even come close to the sound quality reliability of these Peavey models. I regret selling mine & the qsc amp. I have 6 of the SP4 version 2 the newer version, it’s so good and powerful, damn you wouldn’t believe how powerful they are, and I still run like old school, wires per every speaker and still record my own cds .!.!. Lol

@@cliffordpurk18 these speakers would be great for a home system and this cabinet has a low frequency cross over that can be activated by removing the wiring cup and selecting the cross over feature then the bottom 15" speaker is the sub and the top 15" and horn are in full range and at 2 thousand watts per side these speakers will move the foundation LoL however I have 18" subs under this set and WoW😁😁

@@junealmuete6184 Hello, the metal grill can be removed by taking the Philips head screws on the side of the grill, there should be at least 6 per side. Once you have the grill removed you can now remove the woofer or driver it is best if you lay the cabinet down before you begin the repair. I hope this helps.

Good morning. I think the sp-4 and the sp-4bx are primarily the same, the bx stands for {bottom crossover} making the sp-4bx a good single cabinet having, low range- mid range and high frequency. The output should be about the same, and either cabinet will sound good the sp-4 series are great speakers. Thanks for Watching.

Hello, the two 1/4" connectors are used for chaining separate cabinets together they are passive so you can use the Speakon for the main input and then use a 1/4 for a signal to a second cabinet as well. Thanks for Watching.

Hello, congrats on the SP-4 these cabinets sound great. You will need either a cable with a Speakon type connector or a cable with a 1/4-inch jack and plug the cable into your power amp and make sure you are matching the OHM and Wattage rating of speaker and power amp. Visit your local music equipment retailer for the cable and they can offer advice for your install. Thanks for Watching

Gilbert. I ran these just last week at an outdoor edm festival. I have an old pair from like 1997. They were slamming. Just as the review says it thumped chests from a distance and sounded great. I would also suggest that you run them through an eq to get the sound you want. Good luck.

That would be awesome. Finding any information on these speakers and how to use them is next to impossible. You're one of the few that actually took the time to even introduce the speaker's.

@@danielpockrus to bi-amp these speakers you will need to remove the input cut by removing the screws that holds it to the cabinet pull the cup out gently to expose the electronic components on the back of the cup here you will see a label for full-range or bi-amp place the jumper in the bi-amp mode and reinstall the input cup the cabinet is now producing sub frequency's at the lower 15 and mids at the upper 15 and highs are still in the horn. Plug the speaker to full range output on your amp in the same way you normally do no extra cables needed here the speaker electronics handles all of the crossovers for you and That is the Majic of these cabinets. The SP-4 bx is a really nice speaker cabinet so I hope this helps
