Hand guided quilting around applique and fill. Pebbles, double bubble, curls and feathers. I hope this video is an encouragement to you! There's no markings or real plan ahead of time. Just quilt shapes that will fit in the space. I start the video with the camera behind the hopping foot, but then change angles. I hope you can see the quilting. There are a few times that I pause to decide what to quilt next. Remember it's ok to stop at any time! Don't let your machine control you. I am mesmerized with your quilting and your music and your talent .I would give anything to be able to spend a day with you and watch you in person quilt. Just beautiful...I love applique quilts...I can see the TINY stitches on this applique. Whoever did it did a great job. Your quilting only enhances the overall effect. (The music is very soothing too...nice choice). Methinks I'm going to have to "borrow" that half feather with swoosh motif. I am so envious not only of your ability but the beautiful stitches your machine makes. Sigh.....Thanks for sharing.

I loved watching this long soothing video! It gave me inspiration. Also reminded me that I don’t have to keep going. It’s good to pause during the process to make a decision on what to do next. Don’t have to have the exact plan first.

Adria, do you have like very beginner friendly starting videos? I want to start but don’t know where or how to begin. I have tried meandering but that’s about it. Please let me know what video of yours would be considered like a first for beginners. I love watching your videos. I found them by accident and now I love watching you! Did you use double batting and what kind did you use? Your thread choices are really nice too. I am a beginning long arm quilter and find these videos so valuable. Love how the appliqué pops.

How do I figure out the right speed for me? I just got a long arm and have tried a couple of different speeds and I'm not sure how to gauge the right speed. Love your work - I could watch you all day.
