This video is about Pebeo Paints- Vitrail, Opale & Ceramic paints. These enamel-like oil paints are at their best when applied thickly to metal, glass, wood, canvas or even paper.

Finally I found a video that explains this paint! I’ve been searching and have been disappointed, I finally have a better grasp. Will of course need to watch more but thank you! This helps tremendously!

excellent video, thank you! When I make dots 1/8" to 1/4' the dots have indentation in the middle when they dry. As if the paint wants to be near the edge and not in the dot. When I paint it on, it is elevated, but dried sunken in the middle. Any idea why this is happening? You seem very knowledgeable. I'm painting on very clean Spectrum black glass with Pebeo Vitrea 160.

I just bought a load of these, they look so fun. The video was very helpful but my eyes hurt now as the video was mostly out of focus! Thank you though and I look forward to trying out some of your ideas.

Question about adding color to sandblasted mug. I wonder if i can use pebeo ceramic paint to fill the design and after full cure bake it.

I was looking for the gloss coating, but found gloss medium.. ill it work as a coating if I don't mix with other color and use the gloss medium over something? PLEASE let me know.. :( will be grateful..

Can you use the mineral oil to thin it for a much more subtle stain effect? I've tried isopropyl alcohol and enamel thinner with some success, but I figured I'd ask just in case.

Excellent. Thanks for sharing. I ordered the prisme, vitral and moon and am not getting any cell effect:( What am I doing wrong? The cells look so tiny, hard to see, not like on videos I see. Advice?

just a question please .... for ceramic can we use varnish to protect colors instead of baking in oven .... same question when apply Pebeo Paints on canvas or wood what can do to finish & protect the colors ?? thanks for answer

Is it possible to use the Vitrail over coloured glass? I have a yellow glass gas lamp and want to paint over it. Would opaque Vitrail do the job? Or a mixture of opaque and transparent?

Can't see why not. On the outside only, not food safe.

I am using the Pebeo Porcelaine 150 paints on ceramic coasters. I know we can just put it in the oven, but can we also add a sealant? Would Mod Podge, clear acrylic sprays, or Envirotex help with making the items waterproof and scratch resistant if added after the items are removed from the oven? Or would the paint have a bad reaction with these products?

You can use 2-part epoxy resin as a sealer. Water-based finishes do not stick. But really, you don't need them.

Are they mixable to make a new color? As for example taking the purple and mixing it with white, to get a lavender then adding say a little black to get a grayish undertone?

I'm painting a big Trompe l'oeil stained glass window on my ceiling and this looks perfect for the project. It should be fun playing with these.

I hope that your project can be laid FLAT on a surface- these will not stick to vertical surfaces.

You can use them on glass.

You can do it however you'd like of course but you miss how they really work together without putting the vitrail down first and then dropping the moon or prisme on top.

Skimpy means you use just a little bit (almost like 'skinny'), so she is saying you have to put a good amount of paint (thick layer, not a thin layer). I hope this makes sense!
