Friendly Tip! If this needs to be applied by brush, I recommend using the 2 1/2 Gooseneck flexible paint brush extender on a pole. No ladders. Use an 8 to 16ft extension pole. Saves so mush time. Idaho paint store. The Gooseneck guy! Cheers!

Love this stuff, been using it for years. I really like it for that rough shake siding, not sure of the exact name, the stuff that has the peaks and valleys every 1/8 of an inch that is impossible to scrape when it starts to fail.

Been trying to get some of this for ages in the UK but nowhere to my knowledge stocks it. I use the standard Peel Stop which is great but sometimes i could do with a thicker product . That job looked amazing when finished.👍

Old house old clapboard scraped as much as I could sprayed and back brushed peel stop triple thick should I spray a binding primer on top before I paint or does peel stop provide enough adhesion? Thank you from West Virginia

does this work well on masonry, in particular INSIDE basement foundation wall that is 100 years old and it's all crumbly (not stucturally) just like sand falling off it, if you touch it... if i brush it down to solid and use this primer on it, would it tie it all together and stop from crumbling and would this not peel in 2 years

Just applied some of this after learning about it on paint life. Dried pretty translucent even though the can said triple thick. Chris: Are you having yours tinted or mixed with a white base? Note to viewers: This stuff is not going to fully hide the edges of flaked paint. It's thick, but not that thick, esp. after drying. It's better than reg primer though. Quick sand after scraping and/or first coat of Peel-Stop to knock down loose fibers = pro tip. He's right. Big diff from that!

Triple Thick is tinted. Peel Bond is not.

Here's a question for you. I'm a painter, and I also workout. Does your shoulders (1 or both) ever get sore while you workout because of your job? It's mostly my right shoulder, from having it lifted most of the day, cutting top lines.

I have a friend who has an older house where the paint is peeling pretty badly. Would you suggest that it be pressure washed and then sanded/scraped at least some before applying the Triple Thick? Or is the order like here in this video: pressure wash, Triple Thick, Sand and repeat the Triple Thick and Sanding until stable enough for the regular exterior paint?

Ever tried using Prep-Rite from Sherwin Williams? It's similar product to peel bond but much cheaper!

Zinsser has some good products. I just glued delaminating wooden veneer back down on cabinets by flooding the joints with Gardz and clamping. no. really.

Seal-krete for stucco make sure you power wash scrape all loose stucco then use Seal-krete. I have found let it cure for 24 hours. Then you can finish the surface

Only $12 a gallon at Ace Hardware. Seems incredibly inexpensive with todays paint prices and inflation !

Maddog primer in my opinion is better but it is very expensive. We have been using this lately now it is more readly available. It has almost doubled in price. Thanks Joe Biden.
