I would honestly go with the 4DFWD 2. The most fashion oriented upper on the Parley is more for show.

The fact that you mentioned fashion tips the scales toward the core black. The corded features on the upper provide enough visual interest and the core black will go with literally everything, while offering the same functionality and comfort. I personally prefer the upper on the Ultra4D for comfort and performance though. The Parley versions sit a bit shallow because they are more fashion oriented. Just something to keep in mind.

First Parleys i had to half size down since 4dfwd 1 runs big. What about these?

Yep, I had to go half size down, but not because they are Parleys, but I have found that all white adidas shoes fit half size big. The process of color and dye shrink fabrics, including synthetics like PrimeKnit. I have two identical size 12 UltraBoosts, and size 12 identical 4Ds, mostly white vs. color, and the white shoes always fit big.

Same midsole tooling, but on overall comfort for walking actually the Ultra 4D is better than all of the above. Then the 4DFWD V.2 is a better fit and upper experience. Over time, I’ve come to not like the feel of the Parley 4D because of the upper fit

They fit me true to just slightly big. And for some reason they feel more moccasin-like or a little lower on the ankle. But in all honesty, after a few months with them, I think I got a mis-shaped pair.

They are all very comfy. The UltraBoost 19/20 is the most plush platform, and the UB 21/22 is probably the perfect mix of all around style and comfort. The UB Light gets it right for being lighter with a similar look to the 21/22, but the upper is stiffer, not at plush. Overall for comfort, I’d give it to the 4D midsole; it’s revolutionary and so far shows no signed of every wearing out how cushioned it is.

@@zsivx for me, all honesty… yep, as far as casually. That’s not to say the UB Light is bad. Not at all. But it’s not plush like the Ultra4D or the 4DFWD for casual wear. For performance, it’s the UB Light without fail. Is there a way you can try them out to compare?

@@RDQLUS one more question 😅. I found out of many sites that the new balance 1080v12 is the most comfortable, how do they compare to the 4dfwd2 and the ultraboost light in terms of comfort and daily use?

Pretty darn close, right? Parley has been doing this pattern for a few pairs this year
