Will Hall is a nationally recognized mental health advocate, counselor, and speaker. He is also the author of the "Harm Reduction Guide to Coming Off Psychiatric Drugs," a 52-page pamphlet containing valuable information on supporting
people who are exploring reducing and or discontinuing use of
psychiatric medication. Host Shannon Eliot catches up with him at the recent WRAP Around the World Conference in Oakland to chat about about mental health stigma, the controversy around psychiatric medication, suicidal feelings, and how society defines normality.

He's an idiot if he advocates psychiatric drugs. My brain, mind and body have been utterly destroyed by psyche drugs. I should have been an alcoholic. At least their hell can be reversed. That's why people become alcoholics To cope with the hell of their childhood. What the fuck just keep deluding people. Been doing it for decades.

I have schizophrenia for more than 23 years I have no more episode. That was after the 2nd breakdown in 2000 may. In 2013 my doctor said I also have depression. She gave me sertraline. I took it religiously for months but I realize it is no longer therapeutic for over 6 months. Now year 2023 of Dec. Almost a year I am not taking ianymore antidepressants. I pinpointed the source of my depression. Now I want to gradually decrease my intake of ability. It is too expensive and I am ok now. I have regained my math skills which I have lost when I got ill now in my mid 50's. I want to be totally free of psychiatric medications.

Thank you, it is so sad this lack of information in many countries about this possibility not to have the drugs. Patients saying "no" - is treated like a rebel. It is very difficult to stand up against, without any support. Many think that pills are only way.

All depend on you. Do you feel well enough to face life situations without a problem...? Why did you find yourself in a nut floor...? Who put you there....your family...police....? What happened to you...? Saying NO to therapy is sane decision. But if you find yourself in a nut house they say to you rebellion doesn't pay. Doc will put you immediately on dopes even before he manages correctly diagnose you. And you are toasted. Your goose is more than cooked. Medicated for life or you take dopes away by yourself not disclosing your intentions to your shrinks. You have constitutional rights to decide about yourself and your life. But diagnosis of mental illness will severe these rights and you are left with your only right to take your meds and keep quiet. Doctor knows what you need and your family supports this reality. You have no legal rights and even if you sue hospital for violating your civil rights they will support their claims with tons of arguments and your records. Meds suppose to heal the illness. But mentally illness needs long term treatment they will tell you this. And you are on their neuroleptics for life. Why...? Why it is so difficult to heal your symptoms...? Not because it is impossible in short time but you are a cash cow now and those who earn a buck on your unhappiness won't let you go so easily. They will pump you with dopes for decades because purpose of those medications is to keep you on them definitely. Pharma companies have market for their product and doc earns his living with big bucks. So why to,lose profits by healing the illness in 6 months or less. That is bad business for them. Keeping people for 30 or 50 years on meds saves the day for those people. You live or die who cares...? Nobody's business. Only yours. You suffer and you wanna be suffering free. But no medication is created for that purpose. Same case with cancer. They Don't work on a cure or a recovery but put you on chemotherapy or radiation to have their product bringing the greatest profits. Money talking big in this world. And to sell the product their producers need clients for that purpose. And you are the client for life. That secures the whole thing. Anyway recent research says chemical imbalance is not the cause of schizophrenia or even term schizophrenia is outdated. This chemical imbalance is simply too much dopamine transmitted from neurons to neurons. So to decrease this process they suppress receptors in receiving neurons believing this will help to ease your depressions, hallucinations and anxieties. But more dopamine is produced more receptors is created on transmitting neurons and if you take away suppressants then the symptoms become even greater because more dopamine is transmitted between neurons than even before treatment took place. So to keep you down they keep you on dopamine suppressant. And you are dependent on that for the rest of your natural life. There are new meds on the market and they have many side effects affecting your body organs and giving you dangerous heart attacks, anxiety attacks, panic attacks, blood cancers, liver failure or kidneys failure. Yet they are allowed to be used because they are state of the art novelties and Pharma companies invested into their production billions of dollars. Now there is task to put those dopes to work. And you are the lab rat to be put on their product. You usually won't feel any better but they will have their gravy. This is how it works. Business has to be run smoothly and your job is to take your pills and keep quiet.

@@amiles7429 You may ask questions as you please but if you find yourself under treatment your only answers are those your own. Doc has no any answers for you. His strategy is to put you on meds and keep you under control. That’s why your appointments after hospitalization are so frequent. For example in my case I had to walk to hospital every week for a couple of months 8 months exactly for injections. They pricked my ass so meticulously there were no place to put a needle after 3 years. My ass was full of clumps and they were giving injections into legs for a while. I was on injections for 12 long years. Going first every week later every two weeks and finally every month. Was under treatment for 36 years 33 of them visiting doc every month and last 3 years every 3 months. He got finally his own health problems, pneumonia, and disappeared on sick leave. I haven’t seen any doc for 16 months now. Do I feel better after treatment....? As they said to me on outset, I am 300% healthy. But really saying the truth I had to help myself. Long term treatment destroyed my liver and maybe kidneys are affected because I am sweating like a pig for last 13 years. Got diabetes on the way and went through few transformations with weight gain and loss. I oscillated from 155 pounds and 295 pounds finally resting on 220 pounds these days which is way too much still. You asked, who the hell they are to decide about our brains or something like that. If you are under treatment ask this question your doc and you will have the answer. Wishing you well. Keep yourself clean.

Anyone heard of the new killer drug flakka? It's made from the same class of drug that makes wellbutrin and buproprion, an anti depressant for ADHD, LOL.. they need to call them what they REALLY ARE... DEPRESSANT DRUGS. They CAUSE DEPRESSION, folks! All drs are f ing idiots who mean well. Like the 'good book '(Holy bible) says the road to HELL is paved with good intentions.lol. Oh, and spare the rod and spoil the child. In other words, beat your kids when they don't do what they're told. Hahaha hah. Yup. Our drs. are killing us to heal us. Actually, they're just making us sick, no money in healthy people. They're in such denial, they prescribe this crap to themselves, they trust big pharma. Ha ha ha. We're all fu**ed!. These drugs are in our food, like MSG, Which they can slip(pass by the FDA) in by changing the ingredient name to 'natural' flavors. Lol, lol. Ha ha. BE WARNED'folks. The best hope for health is stay away from drs. and don't eat what they're selling in the supermarket.Big PHARMA must really be salivating over the trillions (that's right, trillions not billions) they are gonna rake in from the covid 'vaccinations' that don't work. Yup, vaccinated people still getting covid and dying(Colin Powell gets mentioned because him well known!)... SO.... now, we're being told we gonna need boosters. Yup... Hey wonder if there is ONE human on this planet left who is 'healthy?' The psychiatrists and primary mental health people tell us all about toxic relationships, and they're feeding us neurotoxins in their pills to make damn sure we in- TOXIC-icated. Yep!!!.And become even more toxic. Force them on people in nursing homes,to alzheimers patients, which benzodiazepines cause) and feed them to innocent children, for ADHD, BI POLAR, SCHIZOPHRENIA. THESE DRUGS ARE THE CAUSE OF MENTAL ILLNESS. THE GOVERNMENT PROMOTES CIGARETTE SALES, they get tax money from them and ALCOHOL, TOO! SEE, IT'S not really about money. Money buys POWER. IT'S ALL ABOUT POWER. Know the problem about democracy? A 5 minute conversation with ANY one who votes! Ha ha **ha.lol**. No one likes the truth. The call people who tell the truth hater. And know what? Everyone lies. Even if it's just to keep from hurting someone's feelings. Everyone on this planet has at some point, hurt someone's feelings. Any 'takers' OH, surely someone will be offended. We all got egos. People like to help others so they can feel good about themselves. That show s how selfish we actually are. It's all about us, lol. Everyone wants to feel good about themselves by helping others. Right? Then, we got the suicide prevention centers to reach out for help, cause the medical field wants us to hang in there, so they can feed us some more drugs(that cause us to commit suicide) lol. Yup. We're real close to the chimps, our nearest relatives. And we know how vicious they are. When they go on hunts. We do the same. We learn to split the atom... and use it to kill millions, instead of 'clean' hmmm, power. Rather than rape the planet if fossil fuels by the petroleum money grubbers. Got people like Loretta Lynn, a coal miners daughter, whose dad let his 13 yr old daughter(he 'loved' her) marry a man who raped her and beat her, and she him, so he could market her to fame. And feel good about himself, watching her perform. She stayed with him, and they beat the 'shi* out of each other for years. The same people who are pro lifers are the ones who love the death penalty. Hmmmm. Oh, yeah, and those who hate gays, they want them dead too, claiming 'god' hates gays. PEOPLE HATE GAYS. And anyone who disagrees with them about which god is the 'true' god. Check out Michael Picard. Lol. A guy runs clear across the street at a cop rally, to yell at him to get the fuc* away from me. He was there to support pigs. Not cops. Lol. Just happened to trespass 'in ignorance' lol, of their event. What a mad, mad, mad world. Lol. Yup. The entire world caught up in mass psychosis. a panic -demic. Depression, divorce, suicides, domestic violence on the rise. More people getting help for anxiety and depression. The medical industry has harmed so many people, it's now biting them in the As*. hmmm. Maybe there is 'justice' after all. I dunno. I stupid.

Thank you very much for sharing your story. Access to information can make a big difrerence in people's lives. I watched your video in its entirety and agree with what you've said, including not being anti-medication yet knowing there are real harms done when people are forcibly treated. I've tried to share the video with a loved one in need but found my computer, which I'd stopped at the point the viewer left, somehow remotely re-started. While I don't know what might've happened during the viewing session to possibly have caused the viewer to leave, the problem of lack of access to information is both ameliorated and worsened by technology due to remote capabilities in this area denying owner and user control. There are also problems in this area with more traditional technologies--radio and TV--and what seems to me "jamming," which is known to be a problem in countries other than democracies. Thank you so much for your printable Harm Reduction Guide.

The medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat diet and microbiome and sleep and vital deficiency issues (including those related to Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Magnesium and Zinc and fiber deficiencies as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (which is iatrogenesis in general). If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, for properly researching the issues discussed in this and related KZfaq presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction. Are you suffering from lingering toxins in your body due to someone with enlabelment disorder. Here are a few things to consider from a man with experience. Cleavers tea stimulates the lymphatic system. Panax ginseng has cortisol blocking chemicals so it can be a bit strong but it does relax the liver enough to flush toxins from the liver especially within the first day of use. You can get a kettle bell and stimulate serotonin to relax yourself by lifting the kettle bell from behind your shoulder to in front of your shoulder 12 times with each arm. You can also stimulate your kidneys by lifting the kettle bell from by your legs to under your arm pits with a bit of a stretch 15 times quickly with both arms. If you are looking for things that help the mind glycine Alpha keto glutamate NAD+ DMAE Silver needle white tea and high DHA and EPA algae oil might be worth investigating plus other ways to improve the body, healthy catabolism and anabolism and good neuro receptor functionality. You see everything in science follows benfords law accept the mathematical nature of mental pathology's according to psychiatry. This means that Psychiatry is a racket committing intellectual fraud standing in the way of discovery in the real science behind mental illness which is currently not fully been mapped although genetics points to stress related dna switching to be an identifier of mental disorder thus the issue is more complex and more like one single diagnoses that has many biological and psychological aspects relating to stress I would say a person is struggling to cope with stress and screw the label my self. I know I'm talking the raw science of the biological mind here and not the pretty looking pathological categorization idea but real scientific data researched with real science doesn't always fit our pretty presuppositions. If psychiatry moved forward and embraced the real science they would find that they hit a higher optimal with people and would require the use of force only in extreme circumstances and not commonly. The thing is dealing with stress and the problems relating to it has been a topic of study long before psychiatry and is a well adverse field so most of the time people would be better helped too adapt to stress in more tried and tested ways. I think it's wise to remember that some behaviors are not poor adaptions to stress they are mealy harmless personal quirks and often don't require any adjustment and quirks are simply a part and parcel of natural progress.

Try taking NAC N- acetylcysteine with vitamin D3 and K2 and zinc and selenium also magnesium which is very calming. You could also try Niacin If you are diagnosed with schizophrenia because it is often caused by a deficiency of Niacin which you will find in research by Dr Abraham Hoffa. You would start at 50 mg, preferably in a B complex 50 mg mix and work up to 1000 mg with a meal. You can get what is called a niacin flush where you get hot and that tells you what dose you should be on as it should not be unbearable. If you are able to tolerate the higher doses that means you are Niacin deficient.
