From a 70 y/o woman...we are women!!! Not a birthing person...I am a Woman! Shania is just having fun in this parody. Shania is gorgeous! Shania was raised very poor. Her parents died and she raised her brothers and sisters in Canada. She married a man, Mutt Lane. His name fits him! In more ways than one. He cheated on her with her best friend and babysitter. It almost destroyed her. She dropped out of music for awhile. However, years later she married that best friend's ex-husband. I've heard they are happy.

Agree, I love being a woman. All of it. I loved being at home, creating a home / knowing that my kids and husband came in when it was cold and snowing, smelling something cooking and looking forward to getting there. The house was cozy and warm. The dog was there to listen to my daughter’s problems so I could eavesdrop. All the stages from feetie pj’s up though play practice in high school and coming home from college when a friend was seriously hurt. All the stages. My husband with a grandkid or two on his lap reading. I’m 76 and widowed now and those are sweet memories to look back on. Also quiet talks in bed. I wonder what old women who had an important career look back on.

The best feminine anthem of the 90's. Shaina Twain was known for being one of the first rock/country artists. Her first album was very country but all of the rest after were more rock. This gave her a broader audience. She has a lot of bangers.

Shania has had a rags to riches life full of hard work. Hard financial times led to her singing late at night in bars around the age of 8 to help put food on the table. She hated the drunken environment, but learned how to be on stage. She also worked with her Dad (step-dad, but she considered him her Dad) in his Reforestation company hauling trees, bathing in the lake, etc. On her down time, she wrote music. She's every bit feminine, but she's paid her dues for sure, too. When you do a reaction to Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love, you'll get this video. She flipped it around & had fun with it. So Right! How can a person try to pin point the one thing that's the best part of being a woman? It can't be done. To each their own is the best way to explain it. I'm a man and i get it. I encourage what ever makes women the happiest. My best friend is a woman and her last boyfriend couldn't understand that she has a best friend that happens to be a man. He's gone now and low and behold, we are still best friends. If people don't like it they can kiss my as i was saying, i encourage women to pursue what ever it is that makes them happy. The End.

Also, Palmer's other song "Simply Irrisitible" had the same women, stoic and just dancing in the background. And yes, there is something about eyeliner on a guy that is really sexy... on the right man, I like my man the way he is, I can get lost in his blue eyes and the hugs I get from him, I just melt into him. Do you know how my husband would react if I wore what she's wearing? If I stole one of his shirts and wore a corset with booty shorts, fishnets and gogo boots. True story. When my husband and I go married, we had a small wedding as it was a second for both of us. Basically we had just family in attendance. One of “our songs” was From This Moment from this album, a true wedding classic and what was playing when he proposed. The song was played, we do our thing, say I Do and the preacher presents us and we go to walk back down the aisle of the church. The guy doing the music goes to hit the other song selected and all of a sudden we hear Shania saying “Let’s Go Girls”. We busted out laughing and told our girls to come with us (our daughters stood up for us). The poor man was panicking and we had tears in our eyes from laughing. We felt bad for him. To this day whenever any of us hears that opening line, we always record and send it to our group chat. That was 25 years ago.

Shania. Wow. Great talent, hugely successful. Grew up on a First Nations reserve in Canada. Worked hard her whole life. Always took care of her own. Outstanding person. ( Shania is a word in a First Nations language. I believe it means” she’s on her way”.)

Shania is iconic and broke barriers. She deserves respect! This song is just a fun song, don't take it so seriously.

In my life the best part of being a woman is the fact that I can cook dinner, clean the house, take care of my babies and work a 40 hour week outside of the home… but on the weekend my man makes me his queen and steps up to do the nitty gritty.. he takes care of my every need.. it’s those times that I love being a woman, wife, mommy… and no, I do not like makeup on my man, I like my man to be all man, a little motor oil, and sweat.. hell yes

Next, That Don't Impress Me Much by Ms Twain. Got to watch the official video. Actually, she has quite a few worth watching/listening to.

This song actually got me down the "country" rabbit hole when I moved to a "cow town" 😉 Ft. Collins! LOL... This is from 1997!! No one was questioning danged genders & stuff! You MUST watch Robert Palmers "Addicted to Love" for the visuals to understand where the Chads come in. (; Shania Twain is GORGEOUS & has an AMAZING voice. And she's currently touring too! ❤

As a woman, I can't say that the best part is being a mother, as I lost the only one I carried, and could never get pregnant again, so only speak for you and your wife, not for anyone else. For me, the best part of being a 75 year old woman is the perogative to make my own decisions.
@amymbeauty87653 ай бұрын
Right? That's a very small part of what makes a woman a woman. I also think "the best part about being a woman" is different for every woman.

Don't worry about stepping on peoples toes. Call um like you see them. This "I'm offended" by what ever is out of control. As long as you speak in a respectful way to people is what counts. No one should be offended by the words you use. It's on them, not you. PS I am a Baby Boomer, turning 75 in a few months.

The best thing about being a woman? We are moms, caretakers, wage earners, housekeepers... So the best thing is that sometimes we get together with our girlfriends and do whatever the hell we want and we don't give a damn what anybody thinks about it!

My favorite Shania Twain song is called, 'From This Moment On ' It's a wedding vow song that's so beautiful. PS, Shania is her Native 1st Nation's name. She was born in Canada , Eilleen Regina Edwards Her last name was changed to Twain for Step father, an Ojibwa Native from 1st Nation's, adopted her and her siblings legally. However she really is part Native herself.

She was born and raised in Northern Ontario Canada in a poor mining town. That chick is 100% hard rock.

This video is an answer to Robert Palmer's iconic vid from the 80's for his song, "Addicted to Love." BOTH of which you've definitely heard at Texas Road House :)

She was supposed to be country. Her 1st couple of songs were. "Who's bed have your boots been under?" and "Any man of mine" My favorite video of hers is "So you've got a car." It's a fun one. It will make you laugh.

You really need to watch David Tennant reading the lyrics to this song. The man is a gem. And Shania was reacting to his reading.
