The singer Lou Gramm lives in my hometown. I was out to breakfast about 6 months ago and he sat at the table next to me. He is such a good guy and down to earth. You'd never know by talking to him that he sang some of the greatest songs of his generation.

This song was written about my life. I met the most beautiful and amazing woman 40 years ago at the lowest point of my life. I was broken. She introduced me to Jesus. That was a life changer. God has blessed us abundantly as He made her my wife!!!!!! These was the turing point of my life serving Him under His lead our lives!❤ We are now closer and deeper in love than ever. Grateful tĥat we all are blessed with amazing divine health! So, we enjoy listening to the 70s & 80s music, especially this song, when we go out crusing in the exotic speed machine I bought her a few months ago for her birthday, just because I like her. She still looks hotter than the car, and I don't mind that kind of problem! On top of that, we have 7 wonderful adult children and our 5 priceless grandchildren. I consider myself to be the most blessed man alive!!!!!

I don't even listen to the music of today, country isn't even the same as it used to be in the 60's & 70's. This group is from the 70's & early 80's, love all of their songs. Listen to the 70's group Styx "The Grand Illusion" album, it rocks. The baby boomers generation had the best music of all time. Keep reacting to the past and you will see why it was and is the best. People don't sing like that now, everything is digitally done and you are not hearing their real voice. Back in the 50's, 60's and 70's all that you heard was their real voice, just the singer, a microphone and instruments. You had to have a great voice to make it in that business back then, now not so much. You learn something new everyday and you are learning to love the music that we the baby boomers listened too. We did have a great time back then, love ,peace and war "Vietnam". A lot of the songs back then were written about the war, calling for Peace. Woodstock was part of that Era too, all about peace, love and the war. Peace out baby✌️❤

I hate it when people say this. There's TONS of amazing music coming out today fyi. I'm a classically trained violinist who spent the last 10 years working at the pretty big music venue, and saw live music almost every night. If you actually go out and see music you'll realize there's tons of amazing bands today, like Fleet Foxes, Whitney, Bahamas, Hiss Golden Messenger, Kacey Musgraves, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Paul Cauthen, Bleachers... I'm a classical musician and I've seen thousands of bands live because of my job, and I can assure you that there is TONS of amazing musicians and bands touring today that make music that is life changing, you just have to be open to new music, and unfortunately most people think the music they grew up with was the best. I'm sure your parents thought the music from their generation was better than yours, but the fact is that every generation has tons of great music!

I like these reactions because it's getting really rare to get an honest reaction to something like this. It's like seeing gold for the first time. Now with AI we will have a hard time seeing what is real. This is real, a reaction to something really truly unique in time. You can't get that more than once. It's more rare than gold and will become even more rare in the future because we all get more and more connected through time and space. Those of us that lived through the times of these songs have a special place, but also those of you that haven't heard these songs yet and can still react to it. That's also gold.

Foreigner was a favourite of mine and Lou Gramm has a beautiful amazing voice and the band is wonderful. Lou went through a very serious brain tumour & was told he was terminal when he went to the doctor complaining of blurred vision and massive head aches. He went home to get his affairs in order and he watched a program in TV and there was a doctor being interviewed and he was a brain specialist and was speaking about a very new surgery that he does for inoperable tumours. The next day was Friday and Lou contacted that doctor and by Tuesday he was in the operating room having it removed. He survived and had to overcome a lot but he’s still here and is a wonderful human. I enjoy your reactions and thanks for sharing.
