“Why just shells? Why limit yourself? She sells seashells, sell oil as well”. Fun fact- In 1833, Marcus Samuel decided to expand his London based business, selling antiques, and began selling oriental seashells. When his sons took over the business, after his death in 1870, they started to expand the business, which eventually led to oil. That British multinational company is known today as “Shell Oil”. They literally went from selling shells to selling oil.

They way you worded this, "after his death in 1970", he lived to be well over 171years old, seeing as he was born in 1799....I want his health regimen....😳🤣😂

Something interesting: Ren acknowledges that he, like all of us, is playing the money game--trying to survive like all of us, trying to get his music out there. He understands where the economic levers are ("influencers, product placement.."), and he's doing that (reaction channels) BUT, he's doing it in an entirely different way--he's creating a symbiotic relationship where reactors are benefiting rather than simply being exploited. He wants to create a tide that rises *all* boats. And it's working.

A full analysis on the music video for Pt. 1: The kidnapped individual was a 'defendant' in a 'trial' with the psychotic Ren accusing him and acting as Judge/Jury/Executioner. Ren's character, through the song, goes on to explain the individual's crime: being part of a money game - a twisted game where people are divided and suffering for the sake of wealth. People who are willing to exploit their peers get ahead, and other are forced to do bad things for survival. Each time he gets close to exacting punishment and killing his victim, he stops to continue explaining more ways we twist our lives for that wealth. He even symbolically draws eyes on the head sack to signify that the victim isn't blind to it: the captor has 'opened his eyes'. He has no excuse and deserves this punishment of death. Finally, with one final attempt to do the deed, Ren's character realized the futility of what he's doing. Looking in the mirror, as per the lyrics, he is also part of the money game. And so, he puts aside his holier attitude and burns himself to death instead. As he said, as assuredly as the whole world turns while playing this game, the whole world burns as well.

Cowrie shells, were used for centuries as currency by native Africans. After the 1500s, however, the shell's use as currency became even more common. Western nations, chiefly through the slave trade, introduced huge numbers of Maldivian cowries in Africa. The Ghanaian cedi was named after cowrie shells. Starting over three thousand years ago, cowrie shells, or copies of the shells, were used as Chinese currency. They were also used as means of exchange in India.

MUSHY PEAS RECIPE Don't get better than this 1 small onion, finely chopped A splash of vegetable oil 500ml chicken stock 1.25kg frozen peas 1tsp sugar 1tsp salt METHOD Sweat the onion in the oil until softened but without colouring. Add boiling chicken stock and return to the boil. Add 1kg of the peas. Bring the pan back to the boil and cook the peas. Strain, reserving the cooking liquid. Place the peas in a liquidiser and blend, adding the sugar and the salt and a little of the cooking liquor as necessary, to obtain a nice thick consistency. Meanwhile, cook the remaining peas in the reserved stock, drain when cooked and add them to the smooth purée.

No. 10 Downing Street is where elected prime ministers move to after winning an election, basically the equivalent of The White House. Fun fact, the Chancellor of the Exchequer (the Finance Minister in charge of budgeting and finance) moves next door to number 11. Another fun fact is that this is REN’s most streamed song on Spotify and the fact he decided to make fun of his most successful song when criticising himself on Hi Ren speaks volumes of his self awareness

Hey Black Pegasus, I discovered you a few weeks ago because of your reactions to Ren. I really enjoy your reactions and how you obviously enjoy to show Rens music to your friends. So far I've only watched your Ren videos and I started the Andrew Tate video. You seem very likable to me and even though I don't agree with some of your political views that I could gather so far I can understand where they are coming from. People don't always have to agree on everything, empathy is a major point and trying to see the point of view from the person across of yours. But one thing I would really like to understand is your point of view on Tate. Because even though you can argue that you're innocent until proven guitly, there are more than enough situation where Tate just openly communicates fucking insane and horrible views on how he sees the world that have nothing to with being a criminal or not but just show that he's a dick. So why do you feel a need to defend him?
@krotchlickmeugh627
@krotchlickmeugh627 Жыл бұрын
Okay. Sit down. Andrew tate is far smarter than you can understand. That's okay. He is his own rabbit hole. Some people first hear of tate from the hype. That's like you're hitting the ground running. When you needed to have heard his story. I was a cobra tate fan. He was a world class kick boxer. But I also like chess. His father was a grand master chess player that while being the best in the world. He was an absolute evil man. He wouldn't let tate or Tristan have a childhood. If you know anything about the skater Nijah Houston and his story. You'd get what I'm eluding. Tate and Tristan are so protective of eachother because without eachother they'd probably be dead. They had to work from a young age. Very young! Andrew learned to relax like ren did while being in an abusive upbringing. When he learned to relax he learned his father was simply teaching what his father taught him. Once he realized that. He understood his father and became a martyr for his brother. He took the punishment meant for his brother because it stopped hurting him. He became the king on the opposite side of his father's game of chess. In that he also became one of the best chess players as well. Not just in life but on the board as well. Their father died before they were in their 20's. So they were on their own. Andrew had seen the world and what it really was. Used it to hustle his way to relevance. While using his anger and honing it to become the best kick boxer in his time. Which taught him to not lash out. The hustler university that he has. Isn't a scam. If you join the club. He will teach you to be responsible. Like Jordan Peterson does. To be the person everyone relies on at a funeral for guidance and strength. He will also lead you to water. Meaning lead you to whatever money hustle you want or are good at. If you're good at social media. You're now hired to make a channel and edit videos of him to spread the message. If you are good at speculation. Now you have a full on education with tutors to teach you how the stock market works and shorts and holds. His whole purpose is to keep lost boys and young men. To instead of lash out and face the world like it's a fight. Because they are lost. To relax. He teaches young men that their masculinity means something. It means you need to be reserved. You need to become responsible for yourself. To have confidence. In a world where men are told their struggle and suffering doesn't matter because it's toxic. That women get to go through life on easy mode. When men have to man up and deal with their problems silently. That their instincts to provide and protect are wrong and they should just be subservient and feminine. Tate says no! A woman is not meant to go to war. They don't use logic and strategy like men do. Men for all of human history were the shields to protect their women and children. That's their purpose. Go out and hunt and provide. Women weren't meant to have to defend. So when that instinct is dismantled you have women in the world jumping from dick to dick. Using their ability to have kids as leverage to not ever have to work while extorting men. Then men wonder the desert lost. A lost man is a very, very dangerous thing. Look at mass shootings. Those are mostly lost and angry men and boys. Told they don't matter. Told they will never have a mate. Or a purpose. Told they need to shut up and be walked on. There's a reason tate has the world coming down on him for simply speaking. Donald Trump has dealt with the same thing. The whole world is bearing down trying to silence both of them. For what? If either one was truly evil. They would have never made it to where they are. Question everything

Loved the reaction and I think didn't skip any part of it. I agree with the interpretation of the first Money Game, I think the tied up hostage is Ren's greedy side (or the part playing the money game, you can see him looking and feeling the face while he is singing of looking at the mirror). He can't kill it, so he goes ahead and kills himself instead. We have the same concept at the end of Sick Boi when he looks at the mirror, maybe also the tied up Ren in black in Illest of Our Time as well. He draws eyes so he can see but still he self-destructs. We all know what’s coming but we keep playing the game.

"Make people really want them, Hit them like Bronson" Charles Arthur Salvador also known as Charles Bronson is known as the most violent prisoner in The UK history but he's chilled out over the past couple decades has been trying to get out of prison but it keeps getting rejected and got got rejected again as of this month, he's now 70. Tom Hardy starred as him in the 2008 movie about him called Bronson, witch is what footage Ren used for him in this video.

Hi Guys, this can’t be just me. But, isn’t this a re-visit to Reservoir Dogs? Or at least its most infamous scene. The one where Mr. Blonde tortures the cop bounds to the chair. He use a switch blade instead of a baseball bat but the theme is the same. Dehumanise your victim and then you can do unspeakable things to them. It is even in the lyrics of Money Game “there’s no left, there’s no right, in the middle we sleep”. The song that Mr Blonde dances, sings and tortures to is “Stick in the middle with you”. None of this is chance its deliberate. In the final part of that movie scene Mr Blonde pours petrol/gas over the cop. Just Ren is about to in the video. Mr Blonde is stopped by being shot by Mr Orange. They manner in which Ren dances around his victim is very reminiscent of Mr Blonde. Tarantino used cuts to emphasise the tension, whilst Sam and REN use camera and body movement to reveal and hide the victim to build fear and foreboding. The very last section of the video also is strongly reminiscent of another infamous piece of film. This time newsreel. The manner in which he calmly disrobes, sits cross legged, pours the petrol/gas over his head, reaches into a pocket for a lighter the thumbs it, is a direct reference to the Buddhist monks who self immolated to protest the Viet Nam war. Very powerful imagery throughout. What da’ you guys think? Peace

Has anyone else picked up on the subtle musical reference to to slavery/chain gang - the ‘har-umm’ every 4th bar with the trudging slow stomping rhythm? Amazing. One of his incredible talents is achieving the connectedness and consistency of mood between lyrics and music.

The famous photograph of a monk committing suicide by self-immolation at a busy Saigon intersection was taken in 1963. He was protesting the persecution of Buddhists by the U.S. backed South Vietnamese government. JFK was president. I was 17. It happened 27 yrs. before Ren was born. Think about the amazingly vast range of the references in his music. Gobsmacked. That's a perfect British term describing my reaction to this young man.

Yo guys, I've been watching since hi Ren, and not only are these reactions a blast to watch, but I have so much respect and admiration for your willingness to listen and have heavy conversations with respect and honesty. I always come away from your videos knowing that you are actively thinking and actively listening, and NOT simply waiting for your turn to talk. I've seen so much growth and evolution in you since Hi Ren that I have to give you your flowers, brother! Not only are the original tunes lit, and the reactions a blast, but you're having important and honest conversations with folks who have reach, and I'm here for it! It's a blessing to witness, and I genuinely wish you the best. And Don as well. Because he's rad too.

I think you misunderstand the Record business. They don’t give a shit what you sing about as long as it sells, that for them is the only thing that matters. Convincing them it will sell may be a different issue but there was the Sex Pistols in the 1979’s singing about anarchy and fascist regimes and the Label didn’t give a toss because it sold.

That’s my point - record co’s don’t give a toss what you sing as long as people want to buy it. Controversy sells - so the label don’t care what you say and if you think about it, why the hell would they? Are Labels the nice guys - no. Do they particularly care about the art no - do they care about the artists feelings - no they are there to make money. End of story.

in the UK we have the exact same freedom speech as the USA., But it's referred to Freedom of Expression. Where it becomes a problem is when it crosses that fine line into racist or hate speech. You have a same in boundary's confirmed by SCOTUS in 1942 Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire. It is not as specific, but it's referred as "Fighting Words"
