After the devastating news of the legendary Barbara Windsor's death, I decided to make a tribute to her portrayal of Peggy Mitchell, probably one of my top characters on television. Barbara was a queen of soap, an incredible entertainer and 'the ultimate professional', as stated by her colleagues throughout her years in the business.
Rest in peace Babs!

This is really powerful. And pretty much covers.... everything. It’s mad to think that another actress played Peggy for a handful of episodes. One of if not the single most successful recasts in TV history. R.I.P Babs.

Janine Butcher was also a good character, nasty piece of work but was played very well. I think the record for the most slaps, go to Peggy Mitchell and Pat. The record for sharing the most girls, the Mitchell brothers, the person that's stayed in the pub the longest but no one remembers is Tracey.
