I've seen Cantonese opera artistes are trained to do the facial paintings themselves. Estimated average time takes about an hour to complete. Beautiful. Love it.

I love this so much. She's so beautiful and her assistant/makeup artist is a great teammate. Looks uncomfortable, but so worth it! Thank you for this. :)

The actor is most likely a guy due to the fact that in peking opera only male actors where allowed to perform and it isnt until recently that woman were allowed to perform.
