I know you think it’s just so broken ‘those short constant invisible burst’, but that gameplay at 19:00 was so clean, you knew exactly what they were not and were seeing. So I think it’s just that level of thinking and turning it into a play is what makes it so.

Exactly, and comparing vayne's q to control mages spells is stupid because she has like half the range they do, so even if it's a tiny dash, she still has to commit a lot to deal damages while control mages don't

100%, i think the off meta climb is a testament to how crazy pekins macro is. reminds me of the challenger supp ahri OTP proosia who said herself that she had 0 mechanics, then picked up ahri because "morgana was too hard" yet was able to hit challenger with ahri support because she had insane macro. happychimenoises has a video about her, she's such a good example of how far good macro will carry you, and pekin takes it to another level

Pekin I doubt you will see this but I am low-key annoyed that I ever found you in the first place. Not for a sane reason but because you keep pulling out these lethality or random AP one shot builds that, for some reason, speak to me on a spiritual level so I have been slowly trying all of them. Your off-meta series was a goldmine for fun looking builds. AP Ezreal in particular has been working amazingly for me (recommend giving night harvester or even proto-belt a try over ludens. I'd love to hear your thoughts about that on stream) anyways, I doubt anybody cares tbh but I had to say my piece somewhere and what do you know....? I've actually been having so much fun playing vayne in aram that I was trying to figure out how to work her into normal SR

And I agree but I've been trying vayne mid with this build before but its so much harder than Pekin makes it look because you get actually rekt so easily (I main adc and thought it'd be easier mid but turns out its not really, fucking control mages out range you so much its unplayable) but eh good luck

"Basically can afford" and "can actually buy" are NOT the same thing. And plus, at the elo/rank that Pekin plays in, players VERY RARELY sit around and wait for 10 gold when you could getting someone to apply pressure on the map. It's called tempo and that tempo is often slowed or lost when you're sitting waiting for 10 gold. Think of it this way - is 5 seconds worth the wait? 1 gold per half second, aka 2 gold/sec or being 5 seconds closer to getting to an objective to help contest. He doesn't have teleport and his other sums are down, so he can't use those to help him move faster either. Based on the fact that you can't spell "basically" and you seem to have no sense of tempo or reasoning behind why he is playing the way he is shows me that you can't be higher than gold (or you just don't play).

Always loved Q max vayne especially when there were no lethality items Nothing like waiting for that sweet sweet BF spike on your Q auto to poke down the enemy with God…now fleet lets you waltz away after a cheeky Stormrazor hit… It’s a wonder she didn’t pick up earlier. Felt like guinsoos had a strangehold on the meta for 6 years or something whenever phantom hit got added and people wet themselves over it

19:39 You obviously played amazing mechanically just to get to this point, so don't take this as a criticism. However, I think if you flash/condemn the Jayce into Nexus turret when he goes for the E/Q, you get the Penta. Even if you probably die for it, it's worth. It's easy to see as a spectator and far more difficult to do in game. Not sure if last hitting the turret at the end was intentional, but at least your death wasn't in **Vayne** :P. Awesome Quadra though, thanks for the great content.

A Penta that is given, is not a true Penta. A true Penta must be earned to the dismay of one's enemies. With that said, I have only earned one Penta in my entire 16 years of Iron ranked play.

The problem with ADCs is being able to harass from outside turret range. It's especially painful when you're a melee champ and the ashe/vayne/stupid ass ADC is shooting you from just outside tower range AND you're standing BEHIND tower. And then you walk up for 1 CS and die.

I guess the idea is you can get big procs up front on Q damage without having to proc w, but im a big fan of bortk> guinso> tank personally because she has so much damage in her kit inherantly why not make her more consistent

It's not really a lethality build. Youmuu's is the only lethality item and it's more for the huge AD, which goes back into Q/Essence Reaver, the AH, and the MS

the reason why 20 plus kills games as vayne aren't easy is nobody on your team wants to front line. they need to buff tanks give taric ultimate some scaling, give ornn some real r scaling, etc...

How... how is a build with one lethality item a "lethality build"? You build Stormrazor (crit), Essence Reaver (crit), Bloodthirster (crit)... At that point, You might as well build IE instead of Ghostblade. I mean, I like ghostblade, I love the mini-ghost and the lethality burst, but one lethality item does not a lethality build make.

Comparing vayne's q to syndra or orianna's q is nice and all but the major difference between vayne (or any champ, really) and control mages is that the mages take a whole lot less risks to use said spells... or any spells for that matter, that's why the cds are longer and damage usually lower (although that depends). That's why control mages suck, because they can refuse the fights while still dealing damages :)
