fun fact, Yi has the highest base MS in the game early on, tied with spider form Elise at 355 - since you mentioned his MS on his first gank and when morde was chasing him. he'll always catch up to you or be able to run out of an ability range assuming equal boots runes etc

always remember kids - level up W second on Ziggs, NOT E. E does more damage and slows more, but it's usually only a zoning ability and leveling it up more does not increase its utility. W, on the other hand, gets CD reduction and tower execute % increase. Since W is Ziggs' biggest playmaking ability (for making escapes and for mini-Gragas-ulting people into your other abilities's hitboxes or into allies, as well as getting those big tower executes), it's by far better to put level points in it than E. For some reason, people always auto-max E second and it always just seemed like one of those things people do but don't think about. W gives SO much more bang for putting ranks into it.

You shouldn't just max w IMO but put 3 points into it lvls 8 and 10, plates expire bout the time you're lvl 12 anyway so continuing to max w doesn't make too much sense If you have a lead that is, or a fed jungler, if you're getting clapped just go e max second

No amount of W rank points really helps too much with taking extra plates, since the execute only ever triggers on the last one, or maybe 2 if you have W max ranked already by 14min which I doubt is likely. Usually taking plates early is about getting sheen+passive AAs if you run Lich. Or demolish procs if you full commit to a turret-destruction build. for me personally, though, W is such a useful tool as an escape and to knock your lane opponent around that I want it off CD as MUCH as possible, so getting the CDR as I rank it up is indispensable. It procs faster than E arms, too, so IMO just superior.
