Yeah. She DOES seem like the type of fan that follows a particular player, not a team (like how she likes to see Lionel Messi, for example, regardless of where he is playing). So its all a matter of time of her finding a baseball player that she likes.

Japanese Baseball is on another level. No wonder Pekora had so much fun there, even if she never watched a game before. I haven't watched MLB in years because I'm just tired of it, but ever since I started watching Japanese, Korean, Venezuelan and Dominican Baseball league, I started to enjoy watching Baseball again in earnest. Oh! And the World Baseball Classic is my freaking Woodstock! Maybe someday I might be able to afford to go there and watch a game live instead of just on TV...
