In theyr defence the guide had a braille section exclusively to help with that puzzle

Luckily it's possible to load previous autosaves by using a certain button combination from the main menu.

@@SentinalSlice But still they're struggling though. Because the spelling are different and take more effort (because using katagana/hirugana instead romaji). They can speak barely, but still difficult to spell.

A bit more than 15 min if we exclude the battles+ reset for me. I was 11 when I first played it.

I first play gen 4 when I was in high school with Platinum, the puzzle didn’t take me long, guess playing gen 3 when I was small help me better at predicting steps to take

I remember being excited for the puzzles when i started playing. When there was ice, you knew there was a puzzle coming.

Prob around 20 min? Didn't realise until halway thru the stair need to be cleared out of the snow ball. And spend a bit more time on how to clear the snowball infront of the first staircase.

like, 15 seconds of walking at the final stairs diagonally until I got the angle right.

Ot not hard in hindsight, but what made it hard for most people is that they forget where the 'stops' where and tend to either over shoot it or just badly miss and have to force reset. It essentially more akin to a memory game then an actual puzzle.

@@doctorwho3708 I guess it’s easy when you’re looking at it from a spectator perspective as oppose to trying to make it work from the players perspective.
