I haven't found/read literature that said "Mami" as mother in Edo period, but as I have a very little knowledge about it, maybe I'm not knowledgeable enough or maybe he is wrong. (Though I lean to believe that he is wrong, except someone provide prove that japanese called their mother "mami" in Edo Period).

@@NicoDoesLP Personally I 100% agree with you... my designer brain who has worked with a couple of content creators is another story tho lol Jk but I did remember that some people has brought up the idea of a Holo-mom special since quite a of them few have shown up on streams and honestly with a few tweak it could be a gold mine for content. It would also be a huge pain to organize and avoid risks tho, plus chances are neither Holomem nor their moms would even want to go that far either. So I think it's cool to think about things like these as a fun what if idea and leave it as that, cause it's definitely not one that it's our place to actually push for.

This kind of behavior is iron-clad proof that Pekora is legit psychotically introverted. In contrast meme introverts like Aqua do not have these issues. I.e. Pekora has maintained without a hint of irony that her mother becoming 'too popular' would be a bad thing. For Pekora, being Pekora is a golden outlet for her kooky antics that she can never regain.
