I came here for the comments on the twins, expecting a laugh... But I didn't expect such vitriol from fellow animal lovers 😳 whatever you think of their tendencies to talk in "twin tandem", I don't think it's necessary to call them derogatory names. Let's just all agree that we aren't entertained by how they act and move on, but they're people too. People who have dedicated their lives to looking after animals every day. Be nice.

@queenjeski591

@@queenjeski591 I think you guys might be right about that. There was a point where one twin looked at the other when she'd paused and then echoed what she said when the first spoke again after the second had missed what she'd said prior. I think you have it spot on. They're NOT trying to speak in sync at all. One is following the other. Tim is a great teacher! I noticed that when he was working with the camels & he was learning, he absorbed knowledge like a sponge...it is a trait of ALL the people featured on Bondi Vet- the quest for knowledge & solution on behalf of the lives they serve. Great show & great people. The production quality is stellar; very seldom do the camera crew feel a part of the scene. Rather the audience is right where the camera is. So well done! I hope no one ever gets hurt during production...and all lives are enhanced. The only thing that I find annoying is the cost of treatment is never mentioned.... Or in the case of wildlife rehabilitation services how much funds are needed. Money is a real issue in area of animal care! You all do such a great job making sure the audience feels a part of in every other way; why not include, at the very end perhaps- The money items?

How strange, most cats can jump from higher heights and land nicely on their paws. Something must have gone wrong. I love that pelican's sandal.♥
@happythekatt8419
@happythekatt8419 3 жыл бұрын
I know this comment is super old, but I’m pretty sure if they’re unprepared to fall from shorter heights like a bunk bed they don’t have enough time to fully rotate to land on their feet and that’s why they get injured. Which is why you shouldn’t throw or drop your cats- they might not have time to land.

I love the Twinnies! I will admit, their talking at the same time can get a little annoying, but I don’t believe they even realize it anymore. It’s just how they are, but the work these lovely women do, is so amazing. I think I can get over their annoying aspects. Lol. They are so sweet and loving towards the birds. So get over it people! Lol. Also wanted to say like, wow how beautiful is that pelican. Wow.

The little boy with the kitten looked guilty as hell. I don't think it was a jump off the bunk unless it was him landing on the kitten. Sorry but notice he doesn't come to pick up the kitten. Blessings to the crew. Pelican is so gentle.

I wonder how that plate and those screws will affect luna's bone growth though. she's still a kitten, assuming she still has growing to do, would the plate/screws stunt that bone at all, i wonder?
@queenjeski591
@queenjeski591 3 жыл бұрын
i know that sometimes they go in for a second operation to get the screws out. they sometimes take out the plates as well, but sometimes they leave them and i don’t think they affect growth when they aren’t attatched to the bone! i don’t know how 6-8 weeks with the screws in affect growth though! i was thinking of that as well since they grow so fast at that age!

I found a kitchen outside that had a bloody front left paw. Upon a closer exam of her paw. I found out that she didn't have any claws or pads. She does have the claw that is the thumb and the one pad with this claw. When I found her she was all alone. So l brought her into my house. She is now 6 yrs old. She can never go outside. I don't know what happened to her before I found her. The vet thought that something attacked her and ripped off all of her claws and pads. We named her Sassy. Because she is so sweet and playing from day one. She doesn't let anything stop her. She's also in silver gray color like Luna.

Can you imagine being a fly on the wall when the twins talk to each other alone? It must be like having a conversation with yourself. In an echo chamber. That is, if they actually do this privately, they may only bother when they have the audience. I would think they certainly can avoid doing this if they wanted to. I feel a litle sorry for them. That said - credit for the good work they do!

some twins, like the Twinnies, do this compulsively. they know they aren't saying things exactly the same but they're very codependent and have a psychological need to be as similar as they can. it may be annoying to a lot of people (see the comments on any episode they're in) but it's not their fault. it's rude and mean how people make fun of them for it.
@CelticStar87
@CelticStar87 3 жыл бұрын
According to an interview they did on GMB years ago, they do this while it’s just the two of them. It almost sounds like a compulsion. While one seems to guide, it almost seems more like one starts and it triggers the compulsion in the other. A compulsion that they cannot control. While it is annoying, it really isn’t that big of a deal that needs comments from a lot of people. They are well aware that their actions annoy people, but they don’t care and have even said “it’s all water off a duck’s back”.
