The pelicans is my favorite team. They can make a lot of real noise in the post season if their head is in the right place. Because they can be impressively good one moment and frustratingly bad the next. They even do this jekyll and hyde in the same game.

Donte DeVincenzo deserves consideration for 2nd team all defensive team. Plays the passing lanes really well. He gets steals and deflections in almost every game. His defense is underrated..Quentin Grimes is gone from the Knicks because his scoring ability and is a more polished defender. Josh Hart also should be considered too.

Lol Zach Lowe said are people just missing every three? lol start watching them on league pass. Look at the length and depth. BI improved and Zion did in terms of attention to detail on defense which has resulted in a top 10 defense.

Why are the Knicks not playing Bonjan Bogdanovic more? You clearly haven’t watched the Knicks games. They need his scoring, but he is not shooting well and his defense is awful. He is a willing defender, but is ineffectual at best. On the Knicks if you are not a primarily scorer and can’t defend your position you don’t play.

Steals aren't undervalued or overvalued. It depends on the context. If the player also plays good on ball defense, off ball defense and team defense. Then steals are a super plus. If he doesn't, they shouldn't move the needle.

Oh Pelton. SGA makes the team b/c he leads the league in steals even though he doesn't guard the opposition's best players and he's surrounded by even better defenders, yet Wemby doesn't make the team even though he's destroying everybody else in blocks, inside the top 20 in steals, advanced metrics love him, he has to cover for all other Spurs' players, and the Spurs are a top 10 defensive team when he's on the court? Make it make sense.

How can Kd not be at the top of consideration. He's the most versatile defender and best defender for the suns. The suns have an almost equal defense to the nuggets and better defense than the clippers. Especially over the past 2 months. If Kawhi makes it over KD or Gordon and KCP im going to lose my sh**
