this is the greatest Christmas song ever, the history behind this song is astounding, written in 1847 by an atheist poet, music composed by a jewish musician, it was banned in France for 20years when the church found out that these men had written and composed it, but the common folk of France would not let it go and kept it alive, during the franco-Prussian war both sides stopped fighting on christmas eve and sang parts of this song, it stayed mostly sang by common Europeans until it made its way to America and was used as an anthem to help to abolish slavery, and is the first song in history ever played over radio waves, when the very first and few radio operators on military ships heard it unexpectedly they were said to be shocked and moved to tears as they thought it was a miracle and sounded like the heavens coming through their speakers! so weather your a religious person or atheist this is the ultimate Christmas song ! peace!

And hearing you sing this with such beautiful emotion brought back powerful memories that I thank you for. You are truly blessed.
