I bought a Z Grill and lived to regret it. But with pellet pro's PID controller kit I turned my CCP Z Grill into an amazing piece of culinary equipment.

I ordered the 18 inch copper with stainless steel auction and got it in within four days. Currently I'm buying steel to make a 30 x 30 internal vertical insulated smoker. This thing is going to kick some butt!

Do you need to keep the lid open until the smoke starts, like the Traeger procedure is?

Does the PID/Thermostat controller include a "recover from firepot outtage?" I cant seem to keep it lit at smoking temperatures (160 - 185). The firepot extinguises itself. I have a Fireboard thermometer so I can show you on a graph what it looks like if you need to see it. Thanks!

Is there a way to turn on the autotu e feature? For instance when installing it into a new grill.

i bought a camp chef smoke pro se,,, im happy about temps but not happy about the smoke flavor i need more smoke flavor lots of it watcha got for me ?
