I have seen debates online about if the oil filled radiator saves electricity compared to without oil. Some argue that since a heater converts all electricity into heat, oil filled heaters will consume the same amount of energy as any other type of heater. This has kept my family from investing into a oil radiator heater as we are not sure if there will be any substantial energy savings.

Goodness me! I bought one of these in February 2020 when my boiler broke down. It was £52. RRP (before Black Friday deal) is now £118. For those looking to buy one, this has served me well since the massive electricity price hikes. Used my Anker power station (Power House 1229wh) which lasted 24 hours before needing to be recharged by solar. Bit of a chore but in a conservatory the solar panels work well to trickle charge. Used a smaller Anker power bank for electric blanket and light at bedtime. Those standing charges though! 🤣

I think the Oil filled heater is great. Takes a few minutes to get the heat going. The heater is very quiet.

This actually looks good. Why don’t they sell it in the US. All the ones here are ugly.
