You would be shocked how many physicians say, "what is that? Is that a real thing?" Then they see my coils on imaging and really get a surprise.

Do you feel fine and syptom free with these coils? I ask because next Year I should get them too I am a little scared...

@@j.p.3166 hi . It didn’t work for me. I got worse as bad as it does affect my walking now. I’m due for a open big surgery which I’m very scared. Good luck at you . We’re not all the same.

Mine were so bad that the amount of blood pooling in the pelvis caused POTS and massive swelling. A few months after embolization, the secondary POTS was cured.

I had them diagnosed "accidently" during laparoscopy, but the doctprs said they have to perform another procedure (intravenous) to fix them because this was not possible during laparoscopy...

This is the same thing with me. I've been in circles because im only 18 and scared to lose the chance of having my own kids since I have none and always wanted kids growing up. how are you now?

Could this syndrome be caused by an ectopic kidney, located just above the urinary bladder? The kidney also has enlarged renal pelvic(circa 10cm) and pushes on the uterus and left ovary. Uterus is tilted backwards.

So when my doctor says the calcified vein in my pelvis is fine and isn't causing any problems? Even though I have about 5 calcifications in my legs and the vein doctor rated my varicose veins an 8??? Is she correct? Or is everything playing a roll?

I’m a medical student and today we were in the OT for a C section and there was enlarged veins next to the fallopian tubes , and asked us what is this , we just said enlarged veins lol 😭 later our teacher told us it’s PCS!

@@malona23 they gave 2 opioids and they don’t do anything. One of the opioids was an anti inflammatory too.

I had uterine fibroid size of cherry 🍒 and I bleed heavy and pain is bad. I had this done before and I have no doubt about that I had doctors and my primary doctor 😷 found it. As adult.

I was diagnosed during a transvaginal U/S for uterine fibroids. Risk factors do not fit with me at all. I've never been pregnant. I am not obese or overweight. I do not have varicose veins anywhere else that are visible to me. My OBGYN did not help me understand this diagnosis and told me to go to an IR. I set up an appointment but I just wonder if this can be misdiagnoses or can look like something else?

Same girl. Never pregnant. Actually underweight. No varicose veins anywhere else. It's so painful and I don't understand it

I don’t have varicose veins anywhere else! But I had an ultra sound and was formally diagnosed :/ it’s still possible! Happy you’re seeking treatment and comfort for yourself. It’s also possible to be endometriosis but my doctor told me they are usually treated the same!!!

My varicose veins were barely noticeable and I'm slightly underweight too and never been pregnant, so much so that I went undiagnosed for 6 months. It was disheartening to hear doctor after doctor tell me there was nothing wrong with my leg when I was in so much pain, I could barely walk. The leg pain went away after sclerotherapy but I started to have heaviness in my lower stomach similar to my leg when standing up before my period. Turns out my issue is pelvic congestion syndrome, probably caused by the inguinal hernia mesh and adhesions from that surgery, who knows?... You were very lucky you caught it early before it started to damage your leg veins!

I got diagnosed with this. All they did was put me on birth control. It hasn’t helped and I do have varicose veins in my legs.

Gabrielle ... can you please tell me have they done anything more to help treat your pelvic congestion .. you said the birth control pills aren't helping ... some have gotten surgery . Can you please tell me if it gives you any pain in the spine and hip joints ?

@@gardensofthegods yes I’ve been waiting to get surgery on both sides. They are going to put coils to block the bad veins. They done a CT scan with contrast dye to see how bad.

They say it has to do with kids but it doesn’t. I know people who don’t have kids and have this and I have it and I have 2 kids

@@fluffyflo2602 just keep an eye out. I’ve had it for over 2 years and they try to give out hormonal birth control to help but from most women and myself, it doesn’t help. I’m supposed to get surgery soon to help with the pain

@@gardensofthegods I do. Idk if this is TMI but I actually no longer get a period due to depo which is supposed to help however the pain runs in my back , legs and pelvis. however I have no kids and im only 19 diagnosed at 18.

Are there any herbal remedies to help with correcting blood flow in pelvic area to alleviate swollen pelvic areas as well as hemorrhoids?

Trina... I don't know if this will help or not but you might want to try it anyway ... ... from the ayurvedic canon of medicine from India . Manjistha root powder ... it's sort of a reddish color and has a strong flavor sort of like clove . You mix some with water and drink . It is very good with healing and purifying the lymphatic system and getting the blood flowing and so I'm wondering if it would help you can look at videos about it ... it's also supposed to be good for the skin .

Look into Dr. Cabral. He does a podcast about this. He listed a few herbal remedies as well.
