Some things that seem to be absent from this discussion are the sex differences in the consideration for treatment. What pelvic stresses and functional differences might exist between the sexes and ages? Can a displacement increase for women during normal sexual activity later on? Also what are the outcomes for subsequent soft tissue damage given an increased future displacement with normal activity?
