Though I'd say even a worse-looking, un-charismatic guy would get away with that comment if it came among this many compliments and polite statements. Context needs to be considered.

I missed James McAvoy doing these interviews so much. It's always his impishness, his coyness that gets me. Such a charismatic, talented man. At the end there when he's asked about the lipstick, you can see how quickly his brain comes to a stop to his honest answer and he just goes into his mischievous mode.
