I'm definitely a Dreamer, hence why I own both a Metropolitan and the Safari. I love using colored inks too, especially anything in the light blue or turquoise family.

Yes dreamers! 🙌🏽 I've got a Kaküno (M) and Cocoon (F). I recommend the Iroshizuku Syo-ro - it's a really good teal ink. I'm more of a green guy but it's really nice. Midori MD notebooks are really comfy for fountain pens, too. Any one else have any suggestions?

I’m a perfectionist / traditionalist who was taught at school,with fountain pens and inkwells in the desk. Please reward me with a Pilot Cosmopolitan. 😉 Seriously though, my daily pen is a Waterman Expert using Diamine Graphite ink, and has been for decades

Fountain pens were mandatory in my school until the ninth grade. This was decades ago. Since they were messy, I couldn’t wait to start writing with ballpoint pens. Now, I have a new found appreciation for fountain pens and have a little collection.

@@sonnyca u re probably from Europe. Most countries use fountain pen in school as the first thing they learn to write with. I was so shocked that in other countries they use pencils or idk. Having experience with them I can tell a good one is kinda similar to liquid ink pens and it s also more convenient. Not to mention more comfortable then pencils

Never thought to want a multi-pen until a school course kind of made it a necessity for me. I thought them too bulky for my taste, but oddly this sudden want happened to converge around the time of reading a random article where people were talking about (and posting pics) of their favorite writing instruments. Though I knew I was drawn to them, I had not yet fully understood, or realized the extent on my stationery addiction. Lol, I really thought it was just me, but quickly came to realize this wasn't the case, as the people leaving comments were listing all kinds of goodies and then someone referenced JetPens...needless to say, I had found my stationery shangri la...along with a $%&#load of pens to purchase, including my first (Frixion, 0.5) mutli-pen. So, I guess due to that initial haul, I find I'm clearly in the Trendsetter group as I loves me some Zebra Sarasa (0.5 Push Clips) and Uniball Signo's (0.38). I want to collect them all.

Omg....my frixion multi pen was a game changer! Perfect for color coding notes as I am going back to school. I also work at a school and the students love to watch me change their grades when they correct their work. My Pilot Dr Grip multi pen (with mechanical pencil) is my other go-to. I'm a little surprised it didn't make the video.

I've always believed that my writing reflects what type of person I am, so I take pride in my written work. I like neat, crisp, vivid lines and Uni Signo is the pen for me. I have a creative side which loves bold, vibrant, and fun colors, so the Uni Posca markers and Zebra Clickart pens are instruments I would find useful for graphic expression. I'm a TRENDSETTER and CREATOR! Thanks for the video JetPens!

This is surprisingly accurate. I'd describe myself as dreamer, perfectionist, and visionary with the hopes of becoming a story creator someday through both writing and drawing; my favorite pens happen to be fountain pens, fineliner pens, and brush pens, whereas I'm too nervous to draw with markers (probably from being a perfectionist) just like I'm too nervous to jump into actual creating...

I’m a minimalist gel pen user, i find it so easy and much smoother than a traditional ball point pen! this video was pretty interesting seeing how you would match the personalities to a pen

To combat my PTSD, I have been purchasing a lot of different pens. I love writing with my fountain pens, all of which are below $100. I also have 7-8 different bottles of inks. I lose track of time writing just about anything even if it is gibberish. It is very therapeutic.

I used to run a Uniball Boxy 100 which I unfortunately lost during my summer internship. Sometimes the ink fades under heavy writing (I'm one of those students in college who has a tendency to write down a lot of what the professor says). Recently I purchased a Uni Jetstream SXN-150. As much as I like the Jetstream I still loved the simplicity and look of the Boxy 100

Messy fountain pen user here, you learn to wear the multi color ink stains on your hands with pride. I’ve also woken up in the morning wondering why my pillow has backwards writing scribbled on it, before I remember that “oh right, wrote that on the back of my hand yesterday...” So long as I stay away from super staining inks, like Bay State Blue, I’m okay.

Since I have a bottle of LAMY pink fountain pen ink (clearance item), I wanna get a fountain pen. Was originally gonna go with a TWSBI Go pen but then decided to go with a LAMY Safari pen with a converter. I’m glad ink converters exist for those who end up going with cartridge-based fountain pens. And I was gonna go with LAMY’s newest ink colour, Mango, on pay day as well, also in a bottle as well as a Col-O-Ring Ink Testing Book for testing out new inks

My pencase contains a 005 pigma fine liner, a bl417 energel and like every brush pen in the market. I for the longest time only used steadtler fineliners and my notebooks, hand and life was a mess of spilt ink. I’m a sketcher but now a days I practice japanese calligraphy in between emails and meetings. Ballpoints are unusable, I’ve made my statement. (30+ year old engineer here)

If you cant get the zebra sarasa push clip pens look at arteza pens. They have very similar ones to them.

I use a TWSBI Eco most of the time. I have three of them. I like these pens because they are reliable. I can go a week or more between uses and the Eco always writes right away. I have more expensive pens that just are not reliable writers.

Is there a pen - 1. Best for writing at low angle almost flat 2. Small in thickness, a diameter of not more than 0.5 to 0.7 cm to hold within fingers 3. Smooth as butter ?

If you don’t know which one you are, do a personality test. There are 16 personalities, and I’m an INFP. INFPs are often described as the ‘dreamer’. Here is the test I used: personalitymax.com/learning-styles-test/ but of course, you can use any test you like. (I know that these aren’t necessarily the 16 personalities, but you may find something similar)
