Third, is anyone as crazy and obsessed as me to watch these 4 episodes of season 3 over and over (probably 20 times by now for me) and only watch all the Penelope/Colin scenes?? (editing out all the others and fast forwarding until the next Penelope/Colin scene). I’ve even taken to reading the book Romancing Mister Bridgerton as I can barely contain my focus and attention on anything else in life! I am completely obsessed. And truth be told ? I would change places with Penelope in a second! Fourth, another good/profound quote from Julie Andrews (as Lady W) “Perhaps a return to the shadows is for the best. After all a small taste of the light can lead to that most dangerous of emotions…hope. And once hope is lost, a lady may become reckless”. Fifth, what happened to Colin in S3? In S1 and 2 I did not at all find him attractive. S3…. OMG Sincerely a Gen X woman

Because if he had feelings all along (I think he did and S2 had us believing he did) then he should have been increasingly unhinged by not hearing back from her. And worried about her. 2. This is a man who pledged to take care of her in season 2. Where is he? Instead he just goes off to be a slut in 17 cities? And doesn’t give two shits about a friend not writing him back? Just goes and fucks some more sex workers and Countesses? Let me write about it in my journals too! 3. His apology was glib and unworthy of Penelope and their friendship. They made it about Penelope thinking she is unworthy not Colin being a drunk ass and insulting her to eligible bachelors/her chances on the marriage mart. laughing 😆with men at Penelope’s expense. 4.Colin comes back does the same whoring about the entire time he is teaching Penelope lessons (for weeks apparently) and then kisses her because he feels sorry for her. Ugh that is so gross to me. 5.Then because he is supposedly so despondent over Pen having a suitor, he goes back to fuck some sex workers again. 6.He only gets up enough courage to tell Penelope how he feels once he knows she is getting proposed to. Like he couldn’t call on her, not even once, or bribe her maid again, to see her and explain how he feels. Instead it’s poor me me me me…. I keep asking myself why I should want ShondaColin with Penelope. She deserves sooo much better than him. Ugh… 😣 🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦 The worst part is Lord Debling by comparison, a truly secure man 🧍‍♂️ who stands for his own conviction. Who is truly his own unapology self no matter. How society snares at him.
