The second part of Bridgerton season 3, it picks up right where the first part left off. Colin Bridgerton proposes to Penelope Featherington after realizing his true feelings for her.
However, while most of the Bridgerton family was thrilled with the news, Eloise was far from impressed. She knew Penelope's secret identity as Lady Whistledown and couldn't overlook it
Issuing Penelope an ultimatum to come clean about her true identity to Colin, Eloise raised the stakes. The drama escalated when Cressida Cowper falsely claimed to be Lady Whistledown in a desperate attempt to save Penelope from being forced into an arranged marriage.
But as the queen remained skeptical of Cressida's claims, her scheme took a darker turn in the final episodes of the season. With blackmail deadlines looming, a lavish Featherington ball in full swing, and Colin's feelings for Penelope being scrutinized, the finale was packed with shocking moments
As Colin excuses himself to join his family for breakfast, Penelope is unexpectedly visited by Cressida.
After uncovering Penelope's secret as Lady Whistledown the night before, Cressida confronts her and reveals the truth to Lady Portia Featherington. The tension escalates in this dramatic revelation.
She demands double the queen's reward in exchange for her silence, intending to use the money to start a new life abroad. If her demands are not met, Cressida threatens to expose Penelope's dual identity to the Ton. The stakes have never been higher in this intense showdown.
At the Bridgerton residence, Lady Portia and Penelope share the news of Cressida's blackmail with Colin, involving Eloise in the conversation as she has known Penelope's secret for a year. While Colin is determined not to tolerate anyone blackmailing his wife, Penelope reluctantly confesses that she does have the means to pay off Cressida. She also reveals that she has earned even more money from her work as Lady Whistledown, much to her mother's surprise. However, Colin is resolute and decides to confront Cressida the next day.
However, in a tense confrontation with Cressida regarding her brazen blackmail, Colin is taken aback when she refuses to back down and claims to have a printer's apprentice who can verify the true identity of Lady Whistledown. As the pressure mounts and the queen intensifies her search for Whistledown, drama reaches new heights at Penelope's sisters' ball.
The queen interrupts the event and announces that she has received a letter from Lady Whistledown before calling upon the anonymous columnist to step forward. Eventually, all eyes turn to Penelope as the queen gestures for her to reveal herself.
In an emotional speech, Penelope confesses to being Lady Whistledown and shares her fascination with the Ton, who lived openly while she remained unnoticed as a wallflower.
Following her sincere apology for any harm caused by her writings, Penelope is met with forgiveness from the Ton and the queen as her sisters present a mesmerizing butterfly display. In a private moment, Lady Danbury shares with Penelope that she had long suspected her true identity as Lady Whistledown

Me molesto la falta de apoyo de Colin, no apareció para nada , ni la respaldo en público como en el libro, ni un aplauso, esa es mi esposa, nada, solo al final llega y ahora si como ka reyna ya dio el visto bueno todo cambia, que decepción, prefiero mil veces el libro.

I am glad that you said this because I was starting to wonder if I was the only one that felt this way. I was actually looking forward to the seeing him on screen doing the toast to his wife part so much! Yet instead he spends a lot of time away from her in that scene and looking like a scared cat. This seem so different from his protectiveness over her in the books that it feels like they created a whole new character entirely. In the books his worry about the identity reveal seemed to come from a place of concern and a want to protect her (tinged with a bit of jealousy that she's so successful), but not this kind of anger that the shows version of Colin displays. The anger he displays towards her in the alley, I'd have run away if in the same situation because I would have been scared. With this version of Colin I was actually rooting for Penelope to either get with Eloise or just get the annulment and go on. In early Season 3 Eloise says something about Colin's coming back from the trip different and she questions whether the change is real. He isn't bothered when she says it. Though when it ends up in Lady Whistledowns column that is the comment that he tosses at Pen in the alleyway in later Season 3 before telling her, 'I'll never forgive you'. Meanwhile, Pen doesn't judge him for what he wrote and even the mean things he's said to and about her. Instead she still says 'he's a kind man'. I wouldn't use the word 'kind man' to describe him after Episode 7 of Season 3. I was delighted to see some parts from the book on the screen. Some book parts that were expanded upon were well done. Though I also found myself disappointed how Colin's character was written for the final two episodes. This is just my opinion on it though. No disrespect to the actors meant, they did their jobs.

Penelope se arriesga sacando una columna para desmentir a Cresida en los ataques a los bridgerton y cuando decide revelarse su marido y la familia de este la miran desde lejos y cuando la reina se va allí está ella sola en medio de esa plaza para mi fue peneso y al rato después de haber hablado con dos personas se acerca él uff esta temporada no ha sido lo que esperaba
