Charlie can make everyday situations streamed by the news seem like limited-edition movie clips. It’s insane.

My guess is he realized he wasn't going to get away, so he decided to give up instead of slamming the car against that truck. If he did that, it'll only end in him getting way more charges.

That guy who blocked the vehicle is a real hero. Imagine having your car stolen, then someone damages it badly trying to stop it? He really saved the owner a lot of headaches in repairs.

I work in Los Angeles and almost everyday at work when I would walk into the break room for lunch there seems to be a car chase going on. It’s crazy cause it honestly does feel like a sporting event at this point.

It was new to you 🤣🤣 Live chases from news helicopters with reporters giving commentary have been around since the 90's in California!! Everytime!

I think it might have something to do with the mid-air collision of two news helicopters over Phoenix live on TV a couple years back that stopped the trend. Afterwards, news stations started sharing choppers to make sure the airspace wasn't crowded like it was the day of the crash, and without their _own_ chopper they couldn't ever have the scoop. It meant they lost money from trying to catch onto any so that they could be the first. In the end, it fizzled out into HUGE chases that everyone wanted to cover anyway, and they don't happen as often.
