@@vincpinkus1713 Hey man just to give you some context for what being in a relationship like this is like, I was with my ex for around 3 years and the behavior this woman displays is almost uncanny to how she was and I can imagine she'd be like her even more so in another 10 years or so. When youre in a relationship like this and so deeply tied to one person, there is no thought of just getting up and leaving, he didnt see this situation coming because if his situation is anything like mine was then over time his "wife" has been slowly grooming him to be accepting of everything she does and says in countless almost indescribable ways due to how much she probably knows about him and his psyche. The pure loss of personality behind those sunken eyes is caused by a kind of manipulation that can and will strip you of your very sense of self. Even after only my few years of dealing with this type of manipulation my mental state changed in a bad way because youre not thinking about yourself. The only thing that youre convinced that matters is keeping the abuser happy because you know what happens when they lash out if you make them mad but you also desperatley want to bring back what you used to have with that person. So ill say this: this man was genuinely in love at one point in his life and im sure it was amazing when it started but he did not bring this situation upon himself in any way and would leave only if there werent 17+ years of emotional baggage and deep manipulation in the way of breaking her hold over him

when your in a relationship and you say we its like saying the other person belongs to you, they dont thats why marriage is wrong on many levels you shouldnt be stuck with someone for 50 years that idea is brought to you by the church and religion is for weak people to stand on
@if77232 жыл бұрын
@@redred222 We is perfectly fine to say in a relationship when you know its correct. If you and your partner are in agreeance on things you don't need to stop every sentence and confirm with them before proceeding. Mark however is getting a fist shoved up his ass and made into a puppet.

@@redred222 What are you on about, marriage isnt something you're forced to do and are not FORCED to be with someone you hate forever because divorce is a thing. You can just marry someone for the simple reason you actually get along and love them and just want to be with them? lol Also you dont have to believe in religion at all to get married, sure its a religious thing technically but you dont have to get married in the traditional way in a church at all and can just do it through court
@redred2222 жыл бұрын
@@NeowMeow marriage was started by organized religion, if you get married you are following outdated way of thinking, also everyone cheats, when someone says the dont they do, its part of human nature, so understanding that a person you want to be with will go with others for some fun but you see them more is ok for me, because i dont want to be stuck with one person 24 7 you only have one life live it up

If you know you can't stay faithful in a monogamous relationship then either don't get into a relationship at all or find someone who doesn't need to be "convinced" to have an open relationship. He's been with her for 17 years and unfortunately the longer you stay in an uncomfortable situation the harder it is to leave. I wish him well.

The manipulation and gaslighting would be enough, but it's the sheer exploitation from whatever show that was filming this "couple" and making it sound so sweet and loving at the same time.

I like how she only focused on getting over her guilty feeling and didn't care at all that mark felt heart broken. She just gaslights him into thinking he doesn't feel anything about it rather than caring at all about her partners feelings. Mark run please.
